Donald Trump and Jeb Bush's war of words heats up
http://www.foxnews.com/transcript/2015/09/01/donald-trump-and-jeb-bush-war-words-heats-up/
“Breaking tonight, we are now more than 12 hours into a massive manhunt after

a cop is shot and killed on the job….In a moments, Mike Tobin will join us live
from the scene and Sheriff David Clark will join us on this latest tragedy for a
police department that find themselves under fire.”

After a commercial break, a Fox News Alert offers “…A massive manhunt
underway for the killers of a 30 year law enforcement veteran…The 52-year-old
father of four was shot early Tuesday today and later died at the scene. Police
say the suspects are considered armed and dangerous since they stripped the
lieutenant of his gun and other equipment…Lieutenant Gliniewicz is the fourth
law enforcement officer gunned down in the United States in the past week.”

Live video from the site and the search for the “perps.” Gliniewicz painted as a
hero on the police force and “once again talking about a police officer being
slain.” Lots of helicopter footage.

Megan Kelly video: “…massive manhunt after the execution of yet another U.S.
police officer.” Video of the search on site. Reports of frightened community
members. Testimonials of how Gliniewicz is a great guy and officer. Then ties
story into a police shooting in Texas, how Black Lives Matter is stirring up hatred
against police, and, finally, President Obama should speak out against Black

Lives Matter and should send a delegation to Gliniewicz’s funeral. The final
2/3rds of the show was then about how Obama has failed to support police.

Scores of investigators scour northern Illinois for 3 suspects wanted in
officer's death
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/09/02/scores-investigators-scour-northern-illinois-for-3-suspectswanted-in-officer/

“As a small northern Illinois community mourned a popular veteran police officer
who was fatally shot while on duty, authorities scoured the area overnight in
search of three men wanted in his slaying.
Helicopters were to aid about 100 officers early Wednesday as the manhunt in
and around the village of Fox Lake for the suspects the fatal shooting of Lt.
Charles Joseph Gliniewicz stretched toward a second day, a sheriff's office
spokesman said.
Authorities from across the state and region poured into the village about 60
miles north of Chicago after the shooting Tuesday morning, some wearing
tactical gear and toting high-powered rifles. Federal agencies, SWAT teams and
48 police dogs assisted in the search for the suspects, Lake County Sheriff's
Office spokesman Sgt. Christopher Covelli said.
Officers could be seen taking up positions on rooftops and along railroad tracks,
scanning the terrain with rifle scopes and binoculars. Others leaned out of
helicopters with weapons at the ready. Residents were urged to stay indoors,
and schools were put on lockdown.

so dedicated he had his “officer’s badges tattooed on his body.”

Is there an epidemic of violence against police in America?
http://www.foxnews.com/transcript/2015/09/02/is-there-epidemic-violence-against-police-in-america/

The O’Reilly Factor: “Some believe that's in response to a number of black men
being shot by the cops. Bexar County, Texas there is a video showing 41-yearold Gilbert Flores being shot to death by two police officers. The cops say, Flores
was armed but no weapon was seen in the video. That doesn't mean anything of
course. And that kind of incident is seized upon Black Lives Matter and other
radical groups to demonize the police. Thus, we have open season on the cops.
Today in Illinois 52-year-old Police Lieutenant Joe Gliniewicz shot and killed in
the Chicago suburban Fox Lake. The lieutenant was a 32-year veteran of the Fox
Lake Department and father of four children. His killer still at large, police are
looking for three suspects, two white men, one black…Do you believe that the
Black Lives Matter crew and other radicals are igniting violence against cops?”
Hilarious interview where O’Reilly doesn’t get his way with his guests so he does
his interruption shtick.

those offering their support and prayers.
"My world got a little bit smaller with his passing, and he will truly be missed by all

Illinois police officer

Gliniewicz's death is the third law enforcement fatality in Illinois this year,
according to the Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, which tracks officers'
deaths so their names can be enshrined on a Washington, D.C., memorial.
It says police shooting deaths in the U.S. are down 13 percent this year
compared with the same January-to-September period last year. There were 30
last year and 26 this year.

“His more than mile-long funeral procession wound through small-town Fox Lake
and lakeside forests that were the focus of a manhunt for the still at-large
suspects. Fox Lake is a close-knit village of around 10,000 people and located
about 50 miles north of Chicago.
Many of those looking on from the roadside applauded as the procession went
by. Blue ribbons — a mark of respect for police — were tied to trees along the
way. Pictures of the officer were placed along the route. And one person held a
up a sign that read, ‘You will never be forgotten’."

Thousands are still in procession at the officer’s funeral. Meanwhile, “Lake
County coroner Dr. Thomas Rudd said Wednesday that while he has determined

Crime Task Force to rule on its nature. ‘I don't know the manner of death yet,
whether it was a homicide, suicide or an accident,’ Rudd said.”

Lt. Charles Joseph Gliniewicz shot twice, report says
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/09/10/lt-charles-joseph-gliniewicz-shot-twice-report-says/

With funeral video in the background, “Rudd also said that "material" had been
taken from Gliniewicz's hands and the task force is in the process of determining
whether there was gunshot residue.
"This is a difficult case because we don't have any evidence of how this
happened, how this bullet got into this officer," Rudd told Fox News.
Gliniewicz radioed to a dispatcher that he was chasing three suspects – a black
male and two white males – shortly before he was found dead in a marshy area.
Authorities have no released any other details about the suspects, and it's
unclear if they have more information.
"We have absolutely no proof that they exist other than that call-in," Rudd said.
"We don't have video. We don't have anybody that's come to the police and say,
'We've seen certain individuals leave the scene at this hour at this day, they
looked like they were this tall, they were of this ethnicity or race, they looked like
they weighed this much.' We don't have anything."
So far his death has been treated as a homicide, though authorities have recently
parsed their words when discussing the case.”
“Three cop killers are still at large.”
