Labor Relations Consulting Firm Los Angeles CA
Industrial Relations Consultants, Inc. is a creative,
proactive labor relations consulting firm specializing
in union avoidance, supervisory training, and all
matters pertaining to employee relations. Our firm
has over 35 years of experience helping companies
avoid unions. We have an unbeatable track record
winning NLRB elections, never having had a repeat
election in the same bargaining unit. We win
elections by being part of your team and "when we
win an election, it stays won."
As multilingual specialists, our proficiency regarding
the management of ethnic workers is unique and well
established. Our experienced staff focuses on
identifying and successfully managing issues in the
areas of union avoidance, corporate communications,
human resources, and organizational development.
We remove the communications barriers that stand
between employers and workers, helping management build successful relationships with
their employees.

History
Established in 1976, Industrial Relations Consultants, Inc. is the oldest professional labor
relations consulting company of its type in the United States and was initially created to
serve the growing, and highly diverse, ethnic workforce in Southern California. However,
this culturally diverse workforce has increased nationally and Industrial Relations
Consultants now assists many employers who realize they lack both resources and
expertise to meet the employment needs of their diverse workforce.
Over the years, our clients have included companies in manufacturing, food processing,
warehousing/logistics, hospitality and leisure, health care, as well as newspapers and the

media. Our experience is wide-ranging and not limited to any particular sector, industry or
work group. Today our practice spans the entire industrial and geographical United States.

Mission
Our mission is to assist employers to effectively implement their employee relations goals
with all their workers, particularly Hispanics, and thereby remain union-free. Our strategy
of working closely with labor counsel ensures we stay within the law and out of the
courtroom. We are proud of our outstanding reputation for professionalism, which
includes exemplary research, outstanding attention to detail and a strong passion for
winning. Our motto "Winning Is Our Business" exemplifies our successful strategy to
empower people and promote growth and development in all areas of employee relations.

avoidance training to effectively counter
unionization
Counter Union Organizing Campaigns - If an
employer becomes a target of an organizing

encourage a union-free work environment. The
sooner these actions are taken, the more likely the
results will favor the employer. Our experts will

Employee Vulnerability Assessments - The Employee Vulnerability Assessment is one of the
most effective union prevention and organizational development tools available to
management. Through a series of one-on-one confidential interviews we

Hispanic Workforce Specialists - Ethnic workers, particularly Hispanics, represent a
tremendous untapped resource. They are fast becoming the primary group of production
workers. As specialists with multilingual backgrounds we are uniquely qualified to help
you manage and develop your ethnic workers.
Union Decertification Assessments - Employees choosing to remove the union as their
"exclusive bargaining representative" usually have many questions about how the process
works and whether or not to proceed. We will assess the strength of support for
decertification and answer all employee questions without jeopardizing the legal process of
filing a decertification petition with the National Labor Relations Board.
