Dear Ms. Monroe,
It was truly a pleasure spending time with such a like-minded person
in Mexico. My friends up north were enthralled when I told them that
such a large sum of money had been donated by an anonymous source.
Considering the whole business with the house a few years ago they
understand your desire to remain unknown. I hope all is well and feel
free to look me or Mrs. Field up anytime you find yourself down south
again.
Sincerely,
Fred

Hello Fred,
Great to hear from you. I’m glad your friends are putting my donation
to good use. I’ve wanted to help the cause for a while but I’ve been
so afraid of putting my screen career in jeopardy (Lord knows the
execs had it out for me for some time). But now that they let me go
I’m not sure it really matters anymore. My agent says that the studio
might let me back so I’m really not sure. I find myself uncertain a
lot these days. I often think about what happened to Arthur. Sometimes
I’m afraid it might happen to me, especially because I spend so much
time around politicians. Maybe I’m just being paranoid.
If you ever decide to come out of your exile make sure to stop by
Brentwood!
Love,
Marilyn
