Who am I ?
I am a young French designer, I graduated in July 2015
from an MA industrial design at Central Saint Martins
School.
I have a passion for social innovation, interaction design,
and speculative design.
The status of designer means a lot to me.
I believe that the designer is a coordinator, an intermediary.
S/he sources inspiration from many different areas;
a technological innovation, a new social trend, or an
innovative theory in psychoanalysis - anything can be a
starting point for a designer. S/he stands at a crossroad,
both artist and engineer. I believe the designer should
be eager to learn, experiment, communicate, surprise, and
subvert…
I also enjoy nourishing my design work with art practices
such as film-photography, ceramics, and music.

DESIGN PROJECTS

GROW YOUR OWN

PROTEINS
Design project 1/5

Grow Your Own Proteins
“Grow Your Own Proteins” is my answer to
the Electrolux design lab contest (2014).
It is a mini kitchen station that allows you to
grow your own spirulina algae, which is one
of the richest protein sources on earth.
The system consists of a harvesting tank, a
drawer containing the algae drier, hand tools,
utensils to process the algae and a 3D food
printer that lets you turn your algae paste
into any shape you like, mixing it with your
favourite ingredients.
By letting people cook healthy and tasty
protein based food in a creative way, “Grow
Your Own Proteins” has a positive impact on
the environment as it can help reducing the
consumption of resource demanding animal
protein.
Visit my project, semi-finalist, on Electrolux’s
website to find out more :

A mellow “spirulina” and rhubarb 3D printed biscuit, chocolate sauce and caramel.
“Grow your own porteins” creates a new category of ingredient, for a tasty and sustainable diet.

The design is inspired by
the traditions of spirulina
processing.
I chose to bring the
authenticity of customary
gestures together with
technological tools so that
the user can engage directly
with the product.
