SYNOPSIS
Set in the heart of Australia’s glorious outback, Antinomy tells the story of Lisa, a troubled and
conflicted Melbourne girl in her early 20s. Haunted by a disturbingly traumatic event from her
childhood, Lisa’s life is spiraling out of control. Her damaged mother Michelle does her best to keep
her daughter afloat, despite struggling with the demons of the past herself. Antinomy is a film about
isolation, desperate measures and everyday Aussie battlers doing what they can to make ends
meet. It is about the silhouette within.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• 18 – 25 year old female actor to play leading role of Lisa.
• 27 – 35 year old female actor to play leading role of Michelle.
(must have the ability to play Michelle aged both in her early-30s and mid-40s)
• Actors who possess strong improvisational skills.
• Actors who have the ability to perform in a natural and understated style.
• Actors who are enthusiastic, passionate and hard-working.
• Actors who will assist the filmmakers in promoting the film on social media.
