The art of creating performance, environments it can be composed of sound, lighting, clothing,
performance, structure and space.

Printing workshop - Jess Copley
Cali graphs

*Printing from collage
*Texture and depth
*No thicker than 6mm
*Dampened paper (Intaglio printing)
*Gloss varnish
* Any material can be used, things with texture.
*Scrim- loosen by scrunching
*Make into a small ball
*Twist and dab
*Can be painted directly onto the plate

Method

1. 2 different layers and 2 different heights
2. Use the tissue and paint
3. Roll over with a second colour this will stick to the raised part.
4. Soak the paper the longer the better (1 hour)
5. Stick to the side of the sink and use squeegee to extract excess water
6. Roll in the blotting paper under the layers
7. Dust paper if needed.

Colour Matching Test 1

Acid Dyes
Silk Habotai Medium
Colours to achieve
Blues
Purples
Reds
Pinks
Teals
Quantity
3 Grams of Fabric per Vat of dye.
1 Litre of water
1 gram of Ammonium Sulphate
Timing
Weight of dye and 1 gram if ammonium sulphate
Dissolve in 80% of water
Keep heated and stir for 5 minutes before adding the fabric
Leave for planned time
