This is a hosted tour specifically designed for
teachers of wine, hospitality, commercial
Cookery, agriculture and tourism.
Pick up at the Brisbane Conference & Convention
Centre at Southbank. Travel in air-conditioned
coach to Morningside to visit where the chefs’
shop. Meet Michael Dalton for a behind the scenes
of Fino Food and Wine, wholesale specialty food
distributor. We then visit the Royal International
Convention Centre for lunch and meet the Executive team for an in depth look at this events business.
Travel 1.5hrs west of Brisbane through Cunninghams Gap to Southern Queensland Country,
stopping at Cicada Indigenous Tours at Maryvale
for a 30 min bush tucker walk and refreshments
whilst learning about the traditional owners of the
land.
Back on the coach for 30 min drive to Eggcettera,
a free range egg farm at Allora to meet the owners
to find out what goes into running an agritourism
business like this.
Travel to Queensland's Premier Wine Country, the
Granite Belt. Dinner will be at Happy Valley Retreat & Granite Belt Brewery for a QTIC tourism
and ‘Brewers Platter’ dinner. Please note: Self
