Please find a detailed list of what products can be used to clean your tips, take the time to read the following
information to learn a correct method for keeping your tips clean and damage free.
DO NOT USE:
Isopropyl Alcohol solution
Hot water, washing up liquid and salt
A microwave (would not come as a recommended
Boiling water as it may cause cracks or displacement
within the glass tip
Refrain from using brittle or heavy duty pipe cleaners
A dishwashing machine
1. Isopropyl Alcohol: Place glass tip in a small bowl containing alcohol solution; using your pipe cleaner, rub
through the tip thoroughly within the solution until the oily residue is removed, rinse with cold water and
leave to dry.
2. Hot water, washing up liquid and salt: Place glass tip into a small bowl. Cover your pipe cleaner with
washing up liquid and a pinch of salt, rub through the tip thoroughly and then rinse using hot water, the
temperature can be inconsistent depending on the thickness of the oil but does not require boiling
temperatures to remove. Leave to dry.
3. Microwave: Place tip in a small microwaveable bowl with enough warm water to cover the tip, place in
microwave and heat for 2 minutes on the lowest power setting.
Failure to apply these methods correctly may result in damage being caused to your tip. To prevent this from happening
