Dear Friends and Family, 
Early this January will be the start of my fourth semester here at Sam Houston State 
University. Crazy, right? It seems like my time here is just flying by. My first semester here 
at SHSU, I became apart of the college ministry called Chi Alpha. Every year (in the spring 
and summer), we go and spend time serving others and teaching people about the work 
Jesus has done in us.
This past summer, through the spiritual and financial support of friends and family 
(including many of you), I was able to be apart of a mission trip that visited Ketchikan, 
Alaska. I was financially and prayerfully supported by friends and family and was able to 
spread the word of God into some seriously dark places. The Lord moved in some powerful 
ways—I can’t even describe the blessing it was to be able to visit Alaska. This next spring 
break, I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to be apart of another mission trip going to 
West Virginia.
Our team will be traveling to West Virginia University, where we plan to help the 
college ministry on campus flourish. We’ll be evangelizing on campus and helping out the 
Chi Alpha ministry in whatever ways possible. The Chi Alpha at West Virginia University is 
in its beginning stages. It can use as much help as it can get! So we’re willing and able to 
work hard—hopefully we can make our time at WVU count for eternity. Ultimately, we’re 
confident that the Lord will use us to start a movement on campus. This is only the 
beginning of what God can do with this university, but how cool is it that we get to be 
a part of His plan?
If you would like to partner with me in these opportunities in sharing God’s word, I 
am in need of both spiritual and financial support. To be able to take part in this mission 
trip I must raise a total budget of $1,475. The deadline for the first payment of $775 is due 
by February 5th. The second deadline of $400 is due by February 22nd. And lastly the 
deadline of $300 is due by March 1st. If you’re able to donate in any way, I have outlined 
options below.  If you have any questions last summer’s mission trip or this years coming 
up trip please contact me so I can share any information you would like to know.  
Regardless of whether you can contribute financially, I know that this trip wouldn’t 
be possible without people praying for me consistently. Please, pray for receptive hearts 
and for the Lord to make His presence known. Thank you for all of your support—financial 
or spiritual—I’m very grateful.
