What to do in L.A.?

Take a trip down Mulholland Drive: As one
of the most famous scenic routes in the world,
Mulholland runs for about 7.5 miles, while
providing you with views of the Santa Monica Mountains, San Fernando Valley, and the
Hollywood Hills. You may even catch a glimpse of Jack Nicholson or Leonardo
DiCaprio as they are rumored to live in the area.
Be on live TV: Living in L.A. provides you with ample opportunities to get your fifteen
seconds of fame. Opt to be a part of a live
studio audience on television or games
shows for free and you may just wind up in
front of the camera.
• Explore the Fashion District:
Downtown L.A. is known for its versatility
and its fashion district is no different.
Spanning 100 blocks filled with over 2,000
privately owned stores, the fashion district
has a large selection of apparel,
accessories, and footwear. You’re bound to
stumble across something worth picking up.
Take a walk down Olvera Street: You can shop,
listen to live mariachi music, watch folkloric
dances, or experience authentic Mexican
restaurants. There are also several tours you can
take including the Old Plaza Church, Old Plaza
Firehouse, and the Avila Adobe, the oldest house
in L.A.
First Fridays: Every first Friday of the month,
you have the opportunity to support locally owned
business on Abbot Kinney in Venice. Experience delicious food, great shopping, and take
a peak at the work of local artists.
