Begin message.
Echoing my similar endeavor two years ago, I have created an
analytical and collaborative puzzle-solving competition. It will
ultimately end in a victory and contain some semblance of plot.
Finding the various clues throughout the school will be the
object of the competition. Not all the clues presently exist –
relatedly, it is debatable whether any are yet public. In order
to begin, you will need to solve the word puzzles – calling them
“crosswords” is somewhat inaccurate – that will appear tomorrow
in stairwells and the library. The first part of the first
planned phase will appear Monday and be completed a week later.
Henceforth, our communication will be through my puzzles. An
electronic mirror thereof will be provided, in the event of the
removal of the puzzles. I will furnish a forum, for use for
discussion of the puzzles – I will use it to disseminate the
electronic copies, as well as to adjust the schedule of my
cryptographic, steganographic, and other competition-related
releases. I hope that these puzzles will provide fun for the
youth of DeBakey, who, after all, are generally crushed by the
pestles of homework and examinations.
Signed, Stephen “Gram” Brinson
