and Human Resource courses for over 18 years. He
is a tenured Assistant Professor of Business Ethics
and Human Resource at Dickinson State University
(DSU) at the Bismarck campus. He is also an author,
a corporate trainer, and motivational speaker.

Kostas delivered humorous dynamic presentations at national and state
conferences and published his research in scholarly journals. He also
served as a consultant, and conducted individualized training/professional
development seminars.
Kostas served as a motivational speaker at Oregon Diversity Conference
( over 1800 participants ), Montana State SHRM Conference, South
Dakota State SHRM Conference, TRIHRA Iowa Conference, Missouri
State SHRM Conference, and Northern Ohio SHRM Conference, just to
name a few.
His book “Secrets to Making Diversity Work,” also discusses gender,
cultural, and generational differences.
Kostas has a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management
and Organizational Development and a Master of Business Administration
degree.

Kostas received the 2013 educator of the year award
from Bismarck’s Chamber. DSU awarded him the
Distinguished Teacher of the Year, Outstanding
Teacher of the Year, as well as the TRIO Outstanding
Faculty Award. He also received Outstanding Presenter awards from both Eastern Michigan University and the Clute Institution of Academic Research.
