The ever-growing number of strata schemes in Malaysia was one
of the catalysts that expedited the process of enforcement of the
new Strata Management Act 2013 (Act757) on 1st June 2015. The
new act ensures standardization by being the governing act of
both joint management bodies and management corporations
which were previously governed by two different acts; Building
and Common Property (Maintenance and Management) Act
2007(Act 663) and Strata Title Act 1985 (Act 318).
Subsequent to the above implementation, HBM STRATA MANAGEMENT
SEMINAR (HBMSMS) aims to address arising issues in regard to strata
management in Malaysia by providing a medium for all stakeholders
of the industry to communicate and share their ideas on the most
practical solution to the issues being highlighted.
