CSU Fullerton is a comprehensive, regional

DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
A unit within the portfolio of the Associate Vice President for Student
Affairs- Student Retention Cluster, the Center for Scholars and
Scholarships exist to create learning environments and opportunities that
support the university and scholarships by providing cutting edge
centralized academic support services that foster exceptional persistence
superior achievement and timely graduation for all students.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Under the direction of the Director of Center Scholars, this transformative
leader provides assistance in transformational and identity conscious program
planning and implementation.
Develops and implements programming that incorporates High
Impact Practices for students in all scholarship programs, assists in the
coordination of workshops and seminars and conducts evaluation and
assessment of program for all scholarship and department programs
that are housed in the Center.
Provides assistance in advising, retention, outreach, assessment,
program coordination and development, and promoting the Titan
experience.
In collaboration with university offices, develops and implements
transformational programs geared toward assisting students in
identifying appropriate academic and support resources to improve
retention of our first generation and underrepresented freshman and
transfer students.
Serves as the lead for outreach presentations, working collaboratively
with external and internal partners within the K-12 community,
Community College, non-profit and community based agencies
that support our student populations.
Collaborates broadly to improve outcomes related to the recruitment,
development, enrichment, inclusion, retention, and experience of
students on campus.
