Our outreach programs were created to support the mission statements of Soul Sistaz En Company (non
profit) and the Learning Institute 4 the Urban Arts to be offered in schools, churches, community
centers, recreation centers, libraries and any group or organization that believe their youth can benefit
from what we offer.
Our process is a simple one.

Contact us to inquiry; We respond within 48 business hours
Set up a meeting with us to discuss what we offer, your needs and mission/ goals
We submit our proposal for your review--this will include breakdown of fees and a agreement to
accept your submit grant fund(s)
Once there is a agreement, we will schedule our program(s) at your designated facility(s)

I Make Movies Series ?Young Urban Fil m Makers?
This program goal is to provide a learning environment for young, budding film makers to learn how to focus on learning
the craft of film making and providing a vehicle to express aSs well as potentially guide them and others towards a
positive path.
Through this program, young people can openly express how they feel about the things they see within their local
communities and around the world to open healthy dialog between their parents, school communities, potential local
government and national government leaders.
By helping to develop smart, effective solutions to problems such as bullying, teen suicide, drug abuse, racial
discrimination, domestic violence, environmental concerns and harmful sexual practices this program gives youth an
opportunity to express themselves within society by giving them a platform to have a voice.

?Why You Mad Son?
This program (under the I Make Movies Series and Soul Sistaz En Company) is devised to allow troubled young males
from the age of 8-19 to record a video journal ?VLOG? on their lives and the things that affect them. Using their
personal video entries these young men with their counselors can in a group setting:
This program will connect each young man with two counselors: One male and one female to help provide a
balanced positive role models due to the situations where both a positive male and a positive female role model is
not present in these young men lives. Each young male will be able to be a part of analyzing their negative behavior,
their neighborhoods and school.
This program will seek to have additionally positive, successful people in society to connect with our youth
participants by video Vlogging their experiences and have direct Skype talks with them in 800-800-8000
hopes that their words
and video connection can inspire them and teach them that success and/ or positive participation in society is
possible despite any roadblocks they may be experiencing.

learn how to create short film works using their smart device with the focus on learning the
craft of film making and providing a vehicle to express and potentially guide them and
others towards a positive path.

Time Length: 4.5 hours!

Students will discuss various current events in workshop from an objective and subjective
viewpoint and as a collective produce a current affairs short news piece shot with their
iPhone, iPad (or other mobile smart device approved for this outreach program) edit it and
present their finish product to market on their social media platforms in its finished form.!

Intro to "Imagination Animation" !
Course Fee: $1750.00!
Time Length: 4 hours!
Participant Class Size: 8-12 students!

This program's goal is to instruct students learn how to create or conceptualize a story
idea and then storyboard it for their project.!
This workshop will help:!
• Strengthen their ability to focus!
• Develop strong attention to detail skills!
• Learn important organizational skills!
• visualize and verbalize their imagination!
• Organized the story and capture it in animation
The Urban iPhoneographer™ !
Course Fee: $850.00!
Time Length: 2.5 hours!
Participant Class Size: 8-12 students!

Capturing the community around them; participants will seek out and capture images on
their smart device visual subjects from the urban community around them to tell and then
share their story through photography--iPhoneography. This program's aim is to give an
introduction into iPhoneography and how to utilize social media to share the images
captured to tell a story.

Travel expenses will be added to program costs based on location of your selected site. !

We reserve the right to exclude from any of our training programs any participant that we feel
are disruptive, potentially a safety risk, a health risk or may cause the success of the overall
program to fail.!

Each participant is expected during the time of program to honor our rules and regulations that
are written out in detail in our company student handbook but will be provided to each
organization with their contract packet.!

!

Our goal is to ensure each participant has the opportunity to learn in a safe, productive, positive,
educational environment. !

!

Our programs are age appropriate. All programs are taught as a collective in appropriate age
groups.!

!

We can provide all programs as parent/child participation programs. If your organization is
interested in parent/child(ren) training session please note it on this application and we can
tailor the program training and fees accordingly.!

!

Rescheduling a program:!
At times rescheduling a program session whether requested by an organization or by "I Make
Movies"™ may be required. Weather, sickness, unforeseen issues may arise. In such instances
where the organization requests a reschedule from IMM we will make every attempt to work
with the organization to find the first available date that works for your organization and ours.!

!

If there is a need to reschedule a second time by the organization, "I Make Movies"™ will
reschedule another date for your organization for $75.00 for each additional rescheduled date
requested.!

!

Observer Passes:!
All sessions are closed sessions for just the participants registered to take part in our training
program and your organization designated POC (point of contact) for the program. We offer
observer passes for anyone wishing to observe the session (but not take part) at $50. If your
program is more than for one day/session this observer pass is only valid for the one day it was
secured for. No exceptions. !

No outside recording audio or video is allowed of the training program. Photo ops are allowed;
please coordinate with the IMM program facilitator.!

*Smart device meaning smart enabled cellphone (Apple or Android), ipad, ipod. We recommend smart devices made
by Apple due to flexibility of Apps used; but this is not required.
