Host families offer students a unique
opportunity to experience the diversity
of American culture in an authentic
and personal way. In return, host
families learn about the traditions and
ideas of their students’ home
countries, form bonds that last a
lifetime, and see their own hometown
and culture from a completely new
perspective.

Become an
I.H. Host Family

We are seeking warm, open, and
sensitive families who can welcome
international students into their home
and provide them with:
 a light breakfast and a sit-down
family dinner every day
 a private bedroom with a bed,
dresser, closet, and desk
 a private or shared bathroom
 bed linens, towels, and a laundry
facility
 WiFi access

We are currently looking for families who can accommodate junior (13-17) students arriving in June and July
2016. Single and double placements available.
Placements range from one to four weeks. Hosts must live no more than 45 minutes away from our school by
public transportation.
