MAGAZINE COVER +
SPREAD
Guidelines: Chose an artist from a list
and make both a magazine cover
and 2 page spread about the them.
The grid should be the same as that of
the magazine you based it on
For this project, I chose the AIGA
magazine as my grid and attempted
to emulate the style of Stefan Sagmeister. The picture on the cover is meant
to suggest many of his works that use
organic materials as type.

This is the 2 page spread of the magazine. The
handwritten text is, again, my attempt at emulating
Sagmeister’s style.

BEER PACKAGING
These two designs were done during my internship
at the advertising agency BR Zoom. These were both
proposals for Bayou Teche beers.
On the right is a PDP for Ragin’ Cajun, an upcoming
beer. On the right is a mockup of a redesign for the
current Passionne flavor of LA 31.

This small campaign was designed for a screening
of the movie “The Tale of Zatoichi,” in an AMC movie
theater located in Oklahoma.
The target audience for this piece is culture-oriented
movie buffs, seeking to watch an old classic on the
big screen.

A SPECIAL SCREENING in the AMC THEATER in TULSA, OK

FONDUE BROCHURE
Being from Switzerland, there are quite a few dishes I
have learned to cook that I can claim are unique to the
region, most involving cheese.
For this project, I wanted to spread a bit of that culture
by teaching people how to create a simplified version of
the classic Swiss fondue.

PAMPHLET DESIGN
Guidelines: Chose a household item. Make abstractions
of said item. Then, use the abstractions to create an
informational pamphlet for the item.
The challenge behind this project was to display a knife
while keeping a safety connotation. The main quote
behind the whole concept is “Cut it out, with the safest
serated knife on the market.”

GOOGLE DOODLE
Guidelines: Create a Google Doodle for an
assigned holiday.
The holiday assigned was the Running of the Bulls.
The concept took a darker turn, highlighting the
more controversial parts of the holiday, specifically
the bullfighting aspect.

Guidelines: Using an existing candy box’s dimensions,
design an original candy product’s packaging. Use
CMYK and one spot color.
I attempted to design a product that would be sold
in a “Whole Foods” type of store as opposed to a
“WalMart” type store. My idea for the candy was
chocolate-roasted coffee beans in a box.

Why go through all the fuss of having to burn your mouth, burn your hands,
burn your lap and sue Fortune 500’s when you don’t have to?
We simply pick our naturally grown Amazonian coffee berries, harvest the
beans and put them in this box.
4 of our delicious MOKA® beans will get you the all the caffeine of a tall cup
of coffee. And you’ll still have your thin fingers to reach in for more!
