games doing crafts with residents of this local senior living residence.

Handyman services for this home for women beginning life again after incarceration. We’ll be doing
outdoor yard work, garden clean up, and general exterior cleanup.

Imago Dei, a branch of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, connects with the fine arts community on the
campus of WMU. This group will put together care packages and write notes of encouragement for
student leaders as they go into finals week.
This group will prepare packages at 7200.
City of Kalamazoo – Red Arrow Golf Course

Provide local community impact by helping this volunteer-driven municipal course. We’ll trim back trees
and perform other miscellaneous landscaping work to help them prepare for the upcoming season.

Urban Alliance Neighborhood Revitalization

Urban Alliance is revitalizing a neighborhood – one house at a time. We will help out on one of their
current home renovation projects. There is skilled and unskilled work to do.
Home renovation work, building skills are a plus. Bring tools, painting equipment, and yard tools.

Another opportunity to support our community. We’ll help spruce up the landscaping by placing mulch,
clean up leaves left from the fall, and generally clean up the grounds after the winter.

Kalamazoo Valley Chalk the Walk

This is a chance to help our Middle School Youth Group (Fusion) support the grand opening of the KVCC
Bronson Healthy Living Campus. Volunteers, young and young at heart, are needed to sidewalk chalk
the path between the Kalamazoo Valley Museum and Healthy Living Campus.
No artistic talent needed, stencils will be available for the artistically challenged

Colonial Acres Cleanup & Lunch

We’ll go door to door picking up trash from around homes, cleaning up yards and common areas. Then,
we’ll cook and share a simple hot-dog lunch with the community residents.
Trucks, trailers, gloves, mowers, weed eaters, blowers, brooms, wheel-barrows. We will not return to
7200 for lunch, but instead we’ll serve lunch at noon and pack up around 1:00pm.

This team will meet to walk through Colonial Acres and pray for the families that live there.
