History and culture in Chengdu is really worthy for travelers, especially on its mountains and waters. This time

Day 1 (L or D) Chengdu Arrival
Upon arrival, guide will meet you at airport or railway station and then take you to check in the fixed hotel
there. After a short break, take afternoon time to visit Wuhouci Temple and Du Fu Cottage.
- Wuhouci Temple: It is a place to commemorate Zhuge Kongming in Three Kingdoms around 2 and 3
centuries. Zhuge Kongming is an avatar in China.
- Du Fu Cottage: The poet Du Fu lived in Chengdu for years. In the west suburbs of the city, he built for
himself a thatched hut and wrote a lot of poems here. The poet's thatched cottage is an important scenic and

Day 2 (B, L) Chengdu
Today we will drive to explore the mysterious Mt. Qingcheng famed of Daoism by cable car and marvalous
Dujiangyan Irrigation. There is a small inner lake called Yuecheng Lake we can also get a glance.
- The front gate of Mt. Qingcheng: Located about 15 kilometers from the southeast of Dujiangyan City,
Sichuan Province, Mt. Qingcheng lies amidst the Western Mountains covered with pure white snow, and
dominates the fertile land of Chengdu.
- Dujiangyan: It is an Irrigation System, which was built over 2250 years ago to irrigate the Chengdu Basin,
and it has been cultivated the whole basin for more than 2000 years already.
- Cable Car on Mt. Qingcheng: You can take the cable car for deep feeling of the Mt.Qingcheng.
- Yuecheng Lake: Yuecheng Lake is located in the foot of Yuecheng Hill.
Day 3 (B, L) Chengdu
Our focus today is the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in the morning and Sanxingdui
Museum in Guanghan in the afternoon.
- Sanxingdui Museum in Guanghan: Founded in 1992, this museum occupies an area of 7000 square
kilometers, and has a exhibition of the cultural relics excavated from No1 and No2 sacrificial pits of Shang
Dynasty (from 16th-11th century B.C.). There are thousands of pieces of invaluable relics such as bronze
ware, jade ware, gold ware, pottery, and bone ware on the exhibition, where you can get a closed look and
learn more about the ancient China.
- Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding : It locates at the Axe Hill 10 kilometers from the north
suburb of Chengdu City. It covers an area of 600 acres. The environment here is exquisitely designed; the air
is refreshing with the bamboo growing luxuriantly and flocks of wild birds flying around. (There are two

Day 1 Chengdu Arrival (D)
Welcome to Chengdu, the hometown of Giant Pandas! be greeted by our tour guide in the Arrival Hall who is
holding a sign on which says your name. A comfortable vehicle with an experienced driver will transfer you
directly to your hotel. Your guide will help you check in. The rest of today is yours to enjoy the leisurely life
pace of this city on your own.
In the evening, enjoy hotpot in a local restaurant to taste the local Sichuan flavor.

Day 2 Chengdu (B, L)
In the early morning, your guide and driver will pick you at your hotel. Drive about 10 km to Chengdu
Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding to see the cute giant pandas and red pandas. Watch the pandas
eating, climbing the tree, roaming in their enclosure and playing with each other. (Please note: if you want

Day 3 High Speed Train to Chongqing & Board Yangtze River Cruise (B, L)
In the morning, be escorted to the train station to take a 2-hour high speed train to Chongqing. Upon arrival,
your guide and driver will pick you up at Chongqing North Railway Station and take you to explore the
must-sees in the Mountain City.
First, visit Ciqikou Old Town where you can still see lots of Ming and Qing Dynasty architecture, local shops,
tea houses, local Sichuan street performance and more. Then, head to the famous Three Gorges Museum,
the largest monographic museum in China. The exterior of the museum has cambered walls and vitreous
dome, representing the history & culture of Three Gorges Project and its origins. Your last stop is Eling Park,
one of the old private gardens in Chongqing, built in late Qing Dynasty around 1909 AD. Due to its relatively
high altitude, there you can have a bird's eye view of the whole city.

an architectural delight full of Legends and beautiful stories.
Please Note: Some cruise ships make the shore excursion to the Fengdu Ghost City. Reach the top of Ming
Mountain to check why it has been regarded as the "City of Ghosts". It is where the devil lives according to

Day 5 Yangtze River Cruise (B, L, D)
Shore excursion to Shennong Stream by smaller vessels. Shennong Stream, called Goddess Stream, is
reputed as the Original Virgin Valley of Yangtze where you could see extraordinary view.
Note: Some cruise ships make the shore excursion to the Shennong Stream. Shennong Stream is a

Day 6 Yangtze River Cruise & Yichang Departure (B, L)
Today's highlight is your morning excursion to the world famous Three Gorges Dam. It is the biggest dam in
China and the world’s largest hydroelectric station for the usage of the flood control and power generation.
Be prepared for your check-out procedure and the ship will arrive in Yichang at about 11:30-12:00. Our guide
will expect you on board and visit the Yichang Museum if time permits. After lunch at a local famous
restaurant, drive to the Yichang airport, train stations and take a flight or train to next destination.
