Rules & Regulations

Maximum of 3 participants per team
Language : C/C++/Java
Platform : ECLIPSE IDE/NETBEANS IDE
1 computer will be allocated per team.
Duration: 3 hours.
Max of 2 teams permitted from an institution.
One reference book will be allowed inside the lab.
No electronic gadgets or mobile phones will be allowed during competition.

Digital Designing Contest









Individual Event.
Theme of the contest will be announced 4 days prior to the contest.
Platform: Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
The entries will be judged based on the message delivered, creativity and originality.
The submission must be in .jpeg format and A4 size image with 300dpi.
Content of image should not be provocative or against the culture and tradition of
Oman. The authenticity of the image submitted will be thoroughly checked for. Any
entry deemed unfit will be rejected from contest without notice.
Online submission through mail by 8th May 2016.

QuizOn! (Inter-Collegiate Quiz) organized by Muscat Codex






2 participants per team.
Prelims will be held at the time of the event .Finals will certainly include one team from
the host college.
The quiz will be based on general knowledge and current affairs.
Students from any stream or specialization can register for the quiz.

Literature Contest







Individual entries to be considered for short story writing (750-1000 words).
Duration: 1 hour.
Entries will be accepted in English.
Maximum of 2 individuals from an institution can participate.
Topic will be given on the spot.

Graffiti Art Contest









Making of Graffiti designs on a venue provided by the college upon further discussion
with the college authorities.
Duration: 1.5 hours.
The entries will be judged based on the message delivered, creativity and originality.
Freestyle design. No explicit or offensive content will be accepted. Design should not be
provocative or against the culture and tradition of Oman. Any design deemed unfit will
be disqualified.
The participants should bring their own necessary materials including spray paint.
The canvas will be provided for the participants.
Maximum of 2 entries from an institute is allowed. (Individual participation)

GameZone – Gaming Contest





Gaming contest comprising of publically acclaimed games like FIFA and/or First person
shooter games.
Spot registrations open for this event.
Rules and regulations will be given on day of contest.

Talent Hunt Events






Music Competition : Categories -Solo and Band Entries
Dance Competition : Categories -Solo and Group Entries
Maximum of 2 entries will be accepted for each category from an institution.
Any style of dance-form and singing is allowed.
