one of our English for University Study
or Pre-sessional English courses can
be the important first step towards
success at Manchester Metropolitan
University.

The Language Centre runs English
preparation courses for September
and January PG starts. Our courses
will help you develop your English
language skills in an academic
environment and introduce you to the
academic skills that you will need on
your chosen degree course. You are
assessed by The Language Centre at
the end of the course, and you won’t
need to take IELTS again.
English Language Services for
International Students (ELSIS):
Once you have started your degree,
we continue to support you with
your English and academic skills
development with free ELSIS classes
and 1-2-1 Writing Consultations.

Campus Tours

Walking tours of the Manchester
campus with our current students
will be leaving on request, offering
you the chance to see some of our
facilities, such as the Student Hubs,
library, sports facilities and some of
our teaching buildings. Meet at the
Campus Tour stand to go on the tour.
