An Iconic London Incentive
On the weekend we had the pleasure of hosting a group of 30 guests from
the Netherlands. The group flew in on the Friday evening and had dinner in
one of London’s top restaurants to start the event off in style.
On the Saturday morning guests had a leisurely breakfast, they were then
met by a convoy of classic mini coopers in racing green, red and blue. These
vehicles came with their very own driver and guide who zipped them around
London to see the iconic sites of Buckingham Palace, Westminster, Covent
Garden and Trafalgar Square.
Guests were then treated to a stunning lunch at the Oxo Tower, a popular
and award winning restaurant housed in one of London’s, landmark buildings
overlooking the Thames. Here guests enjoyed drinks on the outdoor terrace
before sitting down to a meal of, British produce including Welsh lamb rump,
artichoke, peas and wild garlic gravy and to finish Raspberry and elderflower
After lunch guests were collected by a traditional London Route Master,
complete with its own conductor. This vehicle took them across the water to
the Embankment Pier were a fleet of high speed rib boats awaited them. The
group were then whisked down the river for a high speed experience filled
with twists, turns and splashes along the way. A thrilling experience for all!
It was then back on to the Route Master and guests took the short journey
to the London Eye where they enjoyed a VIP, private capsule experience. As
they rotated around the Eye, guests were treated to champagne and
canapés, served by their very own private waiters!
After the London Eye it was time to return to the Bloomsbury hotel to rest
and have time to change for dinner. By 8.30pm black cabs were hailed and
they group went off to one of London’s most contemporary restaurants and
nightclubs DSTRKT. Here the group partied the night away in a private area
with bottles of champagne lit with sparklers and music all night. An exciting
way to end an iconic day in London.
