Check In

The keys for the apartment are in a lockbox attached to the handrail leading to the building
door. There are multiple lock boxes attached to the handrails; they are generally used for real
estate brokerages to keep keys for showing to potential tenants. The keys to the apartment are
in the lockbox on the right hand rail on the second rung closest to the building, and the code is
0917.

The pink key opens the main building door (turn counter-clockwise), and the blue key opens the
apartment door (turn clockwise). The keys may stick slightly and require jiggling.

Transportation

There are multiple subway stations nearby the apartment. Google Maps provides full and
detailed subway directions, so use it to plan your trip before you head out. The closest stations

Kitchen
As promised, there is a full kitchen at your disposal if you choose to use it. Cups, bowls, and
plates are in the cupboards above the sink. Utensils are in the top compartment of the white
utility cart. If you wish to clean your dishes you can place them in the dishwasher, and there are
detergent pods below the sink that look like little foil candies.


Garbage

If the garbage fills up, the dumpsters are a set of three black, metal bins directly to your left as
you exit the apartment building (to your right if you are facing the main building door).
Recycling is in the leftmost bin. New garbage bags are under the kitchen sink. You don’t need to
take the garbage down when you check out!


Laundry

If you need to do laundry during your stay, the best laundromat is Madison Supreme
Laundromat at 80 Madison St. It has a blue awning and you can drop off your clothes to be
cleaned, dried, and folded.


Toiletries

Soap and shampoo are provided in the shower. If these aren’t available, please let me know
and I will make sure it’s accommodated. Feminine hygiene products are available below the
sink. If you are in need of something else, the closest drug store is a Rite Aid at 7 Madison St.
