LAUNCHING
APRIL 2017

Where Wall Street
Goes to School ™
If you are contemplating a career transition to financial risk
management, or simply looking to enhance your risk skill set,
you face a bewildering array of choices ranging from graduate
programs at universities to examination based professional
credentials.
We believe that all of these paths to career advancement entail
compromises. University programs often require full-time
commitments that mean valuable time away from work. Exam
based credential programs, by their very nature, are less than
ideal for developing the practical, hands-on skills prized by the
financial services sector.
At NYIF, we do things differently. For close to 100 years, we
have delivered the hands-on skills training that our clients, the
world’s preeminent financial institutions, demand. We refer to
the competencies we develop as Desk-Ready Skills. We provide
training using an immersive boot-camp mode of delivery. Training modules typically run for a week, minimizing your time away
from work.
While our focus is on risk, the skills you will develop are
applicable to a multitude of roles including valuation, model
validation, treasury management and quantitative modeling.
The CFRETM program is the culmination of our hard work to
perfect skills-based finance training. We invite you to think of
NYIF as the very first finance hacker school. We are the future
of finance training and have been for over 90 years.
