Sam the Gingerbread Man has left his mark on downtown
Belleville! Follow his trail and walk Illinois’ longest MAIN STREET,
while sneaking a peek at the Gingerbread contest entries and
winners in the storefront windows, all while collecting cookies at
36 different stops!

While strolling, you will experience the sights and sounds of
Christmas Carolers, Barbershop music, Way Out Balloons and
the Christkindlmarkt~ a market filled with unique vendors from
around the world. You can also experience the quaint shops on
Main Street and stop for lunch along your way too!
And if that isn’t enough, you can enjoy a FREE Horse drawn
Trolley ride, visit with Santa Claus, and finish up your Christmas
Shopping too!

PARKING: Ample FREE PARKING @ the bank and in
adjacent parking lots.

a.m. Anyone not claiming COOKIE BAG by 11 a.m. – will
be considered a NO SHOW (Absolutely NO REFUNDS for NO
SHOWS)

COOKIES: You are purchasing the RIGHT for the person(s) listed
on the registration form to CARRY A GINGERBREAD COOKIE BAG
provided by the Gingerbread Committee enabling them to collect
cookies on Gingerbread Cookie Day. I understand this is nontransferable and that if the person(s) listed on the registration form
does not arrive at the Bank of Belleville by 11am on cookie day, their
registration fee will be considered a donation for Gingerbread
Festivities and the reserved “right to carry” will be given to the next
person in line. (LIMIT 1 BAG PER PERSON & cookies will only be

I realize that there are dangers in outdoor activities and that
mortal or serious personal damage and property damage
may occur. I assume full responsibility for the risk of
personal injury, death or property damage due to the
negligence or carelessness of the parties released by this
document. On my own behalf and on behalf of my heirs,
personal representatives or assigns, I hereby release the
Belleville Gingerbread Committee, Belleville Main Street
Organization, The City of Belleville, IL, all advertisers of the
event, and all of their officers, directors, employees, and
volunteers (“the released parties”) for all claims, or rights to
claim compensation for any loss or injury which I may sustain
as a result of negligence, carelessness, or any case
whatsoever; whether loss or injury occurs while participating
in, going to, or coming from such activity. Further, I agree to
indemnify and hold the parties released by this document
harmless form any such claims or demands. I expressly
agree that this release and indemnity agreement is intended
to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the
State of Illinois, and any other state in which these activities
occur, and that if any portion hereof is held invalid, the
remainder shall continue in full force and effect.
