the development of cross-border water projects in Israel and Palestine.

OUR MISSION
Build Israel Palestine (BIP) is a community of Muslims, Jews and Christians in the United States
committed to helping people on the ground in Israel and Palestine through cross-border water
projects by partnering with locals in Israel and Palestine.

The Arava Institute
The Arava Institute for Environmental Studies is a leading environmental studies and research
program in the Middle East. It houses academic programs in partnership with Ben Gurion
University, research centers, and international cooperation initiatives focusing on a range of
environmental concerns and challenges.
With a student body comprised of Jordanians, Palestinians, Israelis, and students from around the
world, the Arava Institute offers students an exceptional opportunity to learn from leading
professionals while forming friendships and developing skills that enable them to lead the region
and the world in solving today’s most pressing environmental challenges.

Here, the idea that nature knows no political borders is more than a belief. It is a fact, a
curriculum, and a way of life.

Peres Center for Peace
Founded in 1996 by the 9th President of Israel and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Shimon Peres, the
Peres Center for Peace is Israel’s leading organization promoting peacebuilding between Israel
and its neighbors (particularly between Israelis and Palestinians) as well as between Jewish and
Arab citizens of Israel.
The Peres Center – a non-profit, non-governmental, non-political organization - develops and
implements a wide range of projects involving thousands annually bringing together a diverse
and multi-faceted spectrum of participants: Jews and Arabs, Israelis and Palestinians; old and
young; women, men, children and youth; professionals and agents of change.

Sadara Ventures is the first venture capital firm targeting the Palestinian tech sector. We are
joining forces with exceptional entrepreneurs to power innovation, and help build the first wave
of world-class, high-growth, tech companies in Palestine. The firm was founded by Princeton
Alumni Yadin Kaufman 81’.

Yala Academy- Unite the region through knowledge.
YaLa Young Leaders is a movement of Middle East & North Africa (MENA) young leaders who
are fostering dialogue& change. Founded in May 2011, by the Peres Center for Peace and YaLa
Palestine, 90% of YaLa’s nearly 1 million members come from the MENA region; hailing from
Israel, Palestine, Egypt, Algeria, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Sudan,
Syria and Yemen, among others.

acts of kindness.
Our Vision
Our vision is a safe and peaceful world where all people respect and care for each other and our
planet. Kids for Peace serves as a model and inspiration for creating this reality with children

Palestinian Internship Program
The Palestinian Internship Program (PIP) provides young Palestinian professionals with threemonth internships at leading multinational hi-tech companies (in their Israel centers) and at
several leading Israeli hi-tech companies and venture capital funds. A US-registered entity, PIP
is backed by USAID and several other funders. PIP coordinates internship positions, recruits and
evaluates applicants, assists with visas and lodging, and provides ongoing support to the interns
through a Program Manager. In addition to the internship, the program arranges value-adding
activities including company visits, workshops on entrepreneurship and “soft skills,” and lectures
by leading American academics. Through it all, PIP endeavors to bring its corporate partners
quality young talent and familiarity with Arab markets while it offers its individual participants
the opportunity to grow their knowledge, work experience, and global exposure.

ORAM
Founded in 2008, ORAM specializes in the protection of exceptionally vulnerable refugees,
including LGBTI refugees. A thought leader in refugee protection, we are trusted by
governments, international agencies, aid organizations and refugees alike. ORAM’s essential
work enables the international community to protect exceptionally vulnerable refugees and
asylum seekers and safeguards the integrity of the international refugee protection system.
