Open discussion to expose the benefits of tackling health issues
from different perspectives in order to find sustainable solutions
worldwide. For instance, certain cultural differences and
professional approaches can pose restrictions in using health
services and/or dealing with global/public health issues.

PANEL DISCUSSION I: THE AFTERMATH OF VIOLENT
CONFLICTS AND THE ISSUE OF REFUGE

The number of refugees flocking to other countries has been
increasing annually, especially in the past years due to
continuous violent conflicts. Immigrants and refugees require
health insurance coverage and pose new challenges to
healthcare systems. This session will focus on addressing social
and cultural concerns imposed by migration on care provision
and universal health coverage .
PANEL DISCUSSION II: E-HEALTH, HEALTH
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION
10:30 – 11:30  
E­health and innovative medical devices have the potential to
improve well­being and health among many people. This session
highlights the importance of new and inventive tools in the
health care sector. Points for discussion will be the availability
in low resource settings or the sustainability of e­health
projects.
