ANY SCENARIO.
ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.
ONE PLACE IN THE WORLD.
THE NEW IQARUS IMMERSIVE TRAINING CENTRE.

[MAJOR INCIDENT]

WANT TO KNOW HOW YOUR
PEOPLE WILL REACT IN A SITUATION?
TRAIN THEM IN THAT SITUATION.

The New Iqarus Immersive Training Centre

A TRAINING EXPERIENCE FOR WHEN
‘MAYBE’ JUST ISN’T GOOD ENOUGH

Hostile, remote, offshore,
major incident, climatic extremes.
Whichever environment your
medics are going to be operating
in, we can bring it to the training
room. Our ground-breaking, fully
immersive training centre creates a
unique learning experience capable
of strengthening resilience and
equipping your personnel to
succeed under pressure.

Ultimate training
for extreme situations
Located in Hereford, UK, our adaptive
environment offers the most realistic
training facilities anywhere in Europe.
Featuring 8,000 sq. ft. of dynamic
simulation space, you can set your
own agenda and create a bespoke
casualty scenario to suit your
organisational needs. From a road
traffic collision to a bomb-ruined street
in Basra, this multi-layered space
boasts solid buildings and natural
environments surrounded by active
3D High Definition display panoramas.
Where ‘ground truth’
meets the training room
We’ll put your medics right in the
heart of the action with explosive
special effects, authentic soundtracks,
professional actors and anatomically
accurate prosthetics, all while
simulating the climatic extremes of
the arctic, desert or jungle. We’ve
considered every detail – from the
language on the labels in our ‘shop’

to the mulch on the ‘rainforest floor’
– to get your people in the zone in
an instant.
The result is a unique training
experience that allows the individual,
the team or the commander to trial
new skills, drills and techniques.
Test your people at the level they
need to be tested if they are to thrive
in the most challenging environments –
and do it with minimal risk.
Next-generation training tailored
to your operational objectives
When it comes to monitoring and
reporting, we’ve installed overhead
drones and HD CCTV throughout.
Medics can be left to deal with
casualties without the ‘safety net’
of instructor influence, while
state-of-the-art cameras and two
way communications allow detailed
observation from an overhead gantry.
Alternatively, carry out a fullydocumented debrief at a later date.

Create your own training
experience, set the casualty
parameters to suit you and your
team, and start delivering new
standards in field care.
