INTRODUCTION
Over the years, Christians have been persecuted and have suffered for their belief in the Lord
Jesus Christ. Suffering and persecution is part of the Christian experience. Paul regarded it as a
grace gift. He said, “For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe on
Him, but also to suffer for Him. (Philippians 1:29.30). Now that you have accepted Jesus Christ
as your personal Lord and Savior, also accept this reality that with this salvation experience
come suffering and persecution.
