PRESENTATION SISTERS GIVE LEADERSHIP
GIFT TO THE BENEVOLENCE FUND
In 1775, the poor were displaced
from their farming villages
into Cork, Ireland looking for
employment, housing and
education for their children.
Nano Nagle, (Presentation Sisters
Foundress) dedicated her wealth
to build schools, elderly housing
Sr. Jennifer Rausch
and vocational training. Today the
Pastoral Care
Sisters of the Presentation of the
Blessed Virgin Mary (PBVM) number 2,000 around
the world and serve the material and spiritual needs
of the poor.

In this spirit, Sister Jennifer Rausch, PBVM serves in
Pastoral Care at The Glenn Hopkins.  She along with
Sister Dolores Zieser, PBVM and Sister Janet Stelken,
PBVM, collectively served our seniors 24 years.
Sister Jennifer’s community of Dubuque, Iowa,
donated to our Benevolence Fund in their honor.
This fund parallels Nano’s vision, to care for those
in need of housing. The Benevolence Fund benefits
residents whose personal finances are no longer
sufficient to cover their housing needs.

Mary Ellen (Dunn) Welter was born on January
31, 1924 in South Dakota. She was married to Jerry
Welter for nearly 69 years and together they raised
7 children. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren
and 5 great grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling,
bowling, playing bridge, bible study and spending
quality time with family and friends.

Mary had an unwavering faith
in God. She was a member of
Immaculate Heart of Mary Church
in Minnetonka, MN. Mary’s family
requested memorials to The Glenn
Benevolence Fund. In addition, her
family donated a gorgeous piano
