The composite chart represents the fusion of energy that two people create when they come
together. It is a third being. Like a child, it inherits qualities of both parents, though it has a life
all its own and exists independently of either of them. The following interpretations should be
regarded as being for the relationship itself, taken as an independent entity, as this relates to
the meaning for each individual within it.

Introduction
The Relationship Report for two individuals applies to any type of relationship. It focuses on
the relationship itself, rather than on the individuals who make it up. First a composite chart
(mid-point chart) is created. The composite chart represents the fusion of energy that two
people create when they come together in relationship. It is a third being. Like a child, it
inherits qualities of both parents, though it has a life all its own and exists independently of
either of them. The following interpretations should be regarded as being for the relationship
itself, taken as an independent entity.
In the following report, each planetary placement and aspect is examined to reveal the basic

qualities of your relationship, with the most important factors described first. Please keep in
mind that these descriptions are not meant to put limitations on the relationship, but merely to
describe its inherent tendencies. Challenging aspects can become the greatest strength of a
relationship if you can both learn how to successfully navigate those issues, with good
communication between you playing a vital role. For definitions of astrological terms, please
refer to the glossary at the end of this report.
Chart Patterns
Seesaw
You have the planetary pattern called the 'seesaw' type. With your planets divided into two
distinct groups, you are very balanced in your outlook, always being aware of both sides of an
issue, always able to compromise between opposing points of view. In this way you are quite
similar to a Libra personality.
Grand Trine
You have a Grand Trine in your chart. When three or more of your planets form a Grand Trine
with each other, you will have an exceptional area of talent represented by the element in the
trine, either Fire, Earth, Air or Water (usually these planets are in just one element). You will
display a marked self-sufficiency and also will have good success in your endeavors in this
area of life. You must also beware, however, of being lazy or complacent.
T-Square, focal planet Jupiter
You have a T-Square in your chart. With this planetary aspect pattern, in which three planets
or conjunctions are in square with one another, you have a high degree of motivation and
drive. Your energies are most easily and habitually expressed by the energy of the focal point,
the middle of the T-Square. You may also compensate for overdoing in the area of life
represented by the focal point, by leaning toward the empty pattern element opposite the
focal point, seeking to balance your activity. The lesson of this planetary aspect pattern is in
learning to use your considerable energy wisely in the pursuit of your true goals. There is
great tension represented by the focal planet or planets in your chart, where conflicting parts
of your personality attain their focus and peak of energy, and you may observe compulsive
behavior in the area of life represented here.
Jupiter in the composite chart reveals the area of your shared experience where you will find
mutual good fortune and faith in positive outcomes.
Jupiter in the Eleventh House (or sign) emphasizes the socially conscious and scientifically
oriented aspects of your relationship. You two work well with groups, and share highmindedness together and strong humanitarian ideals. Together, you experience growth and
expansion through inventive and original activity, and are able to motivate others by your
example. Your relationship does well in diplomatic and political realms. In a romantic
connection, your sense of friendship with each other makes a firm foundation and you find an
easy harmony in the way you choose to spend your free time and discretionary money while
together. You are attracted to group endeavors and may enjoy friendships with others outside
of the relationship as well as the one within it. As a partnership, you don't value security on a
personal level, but tend to focus your joint ideals on the betterment of society, with a valuesystem that is uniquely your own. Your relationship may have a reputation as being unique,
and you certainly value being able to march to the beat of your own drum. As a partnership
you are humane and just, and have high principles, but you may envision possibilities too vast
to be achieved, and can benefit from cultivating a regular system of reality checks.
Composite Jupiter in Pisces (or the twelfth house) gives you a quiet and unassuming
relationship that grows very powerfully with emotional tending. You value being good and
kind, and these values are magnified by your relationship with each other. You also tend to be
considerate, friendly and easy-going in the context of this relationship. If you are business
partners, you likely need to feel an emotional sympathy in order for your work to be satisfying

to you. Together, you have your own personal code of conduct to which you are true, no
matter what public opinion may be, or convention may dictate. In a romantic connection, as a
couple you are likely to be fond of cinema, or other imaginative flights of fancy. There is some
danger of escapism. As a partnership you tend to work behind the scenes, and do not seek
personal glorification from your actions, but are content to do what you do because it is
helpful to other people. You may jointly suffer from being overly sensitive to the needs of
others, or seek to retire with each other from the casual cruelties of the world at large.
T-Square, focal planet Neptune
Neptune in the composite chart reveals the area of your shared experience where you will
encounter idealization and nebulous spiritual feelings that will lead you to self-discovery.
Neptune in the Eighth House (or sign) brings out great personal and spiritual magnetism in
each of you as a result of your association. You share a subtle intuition and an unusually
clear ability to see into each other's depths, although there may also be a tendency to see
each other somewhat through rose-colored glasses. Shared finances may also be subject to
a form of idealism or even illusion. You may become more interested in otherworldly affairs,
such as psychic matters or occult studies, than the everyday , or find that you share a love of
sensuality and luxury together. With this relationship also, you may experience confusion over
the power and/or sexual dynamics that come up between you. It may benefit you to put some
extra attention into thinking and feeling through these sensitive issues . A process of spiritual
transformation may take place in each of you as the relationship matures. You benefit from
applying greater clarity to your shared values and to your intimate connection .
Composite Neptune in Sagittarius (or the ninth house) brings an impressionable, idealistic
and highly intuitive quality to your relationship. As a partnership, you two are likely to be
inclined to the mystical, and high minded, perhaps seeing life in terms of the poetic rather
than the practical. You have a natural bent for philosophical discourse or perhaps teaching
together, but you may need to guard against over-idealization. You are likely to share a belief
in the unknown, and to have a great desire to explore, travel and experiment with new ways
of doing things. In close interpersonal relationship, you can always enjoy the extra romantic
edge that comes along with your shared adventuring. Together you may have an urge to get
away from it all on a regular basis, and may be attracted to spiritual studies, or psychedelics
and the like to achieve transcendent states. You benefit when you are careful not to get too
carried away with your ideas, and when you find ways to ground your flights of fancy into
concrete realities.
Yod, focal planet Pluto
You have a Yod planetary aspect pattern in your chart, also known as the 'finger of God'. This
pattern consists of two different planets forming inconjunct aspects of 150` to a third, or focal,
point. Usually there will be a marked emphasis on the area of life represented by this focal
point, which may be one planet, or two or more in conjunction. You may have physical or
psychological problems associated with the expression of the energies of the focal planet or
planets, creating a subtle form of tension in your life. The key is adjustment. Your lesson is to
transform the expression of these energies along more positive lines.
Pluto in the composite chart reveals the area of your shared experience where you will

encounter your mutual drive for power and which will be transformative for the relationship.
Pluto in the Sixth House (or sign) correlates to a relationship where there is a need to
sacrifice to the other and to the relationship. As a partnership, you may also experience a
strong desire or even a compulsion to be of service to the general good or to others that you
encounter. You may find you are working through very deep-seated unconscious dynamics of
being truly helpful and available to others. In a romantic relationship, in order to prevent
power struggles that inevitably play out within the issues of sharing and service to each other,
it is important that you carefully turn the light of consciousness onto the working dynamics of
the relationship. In spite perhaps of a culture that does not encourage it, you benefit when you
develop an ability to mutually acknowledge the power dynamics at play, and to begin to
cultivate a very real and sincere humility, or take the time to access built-up and unresolved
emotions within you, and just let it be. It can be very helpful when you become aware of the
compulsion to create crisis, and take time out from the relationship in order to practice deeply
forgiving each other from this, and possibly other, lifetimes. You may have as a survival
instinct for the relationship a mutual desire to bring integrity and expansion into the area of
shared service and to confront any limitations within you that prevents this from happening.
When you work together for greater individual consciousness in this area, you benefit not only
yourselves but also others that you come into contact with, as you move toward a more
conscious and freely given act of sharing.
Composite Pluto in Libra (or the seventh house) gives your relationship an intense focus on
satisfying your individual needs and desires by pairing up with each other. There may be an
almost fated sense of connection between you; that you have come together for some
powerful reason. In this relationship, you have a calling to learn all about the nature of your
partner's needs and expectations, and there may also be power issues to contend with as one
or the other unconsciously tries to dominate. As you sort things out with each other, you will
transform yourselves around the issues of balance and control. In a romantic relationship, this
transformation toward balance may at first manifest as an unconscious acting out of
traditional roles. As you begin to resist playing out old patterns with your partner, a powerful
love/hate response may arise in either one of you. Getting to the point where your will
becomes harmonized with your partner takes time, but eventually the two of you will develop
the ability to at least partially begin to "act as one," as power struggles give way to shared
love and mutual respect. Gaining the courage to begin to confront these patterns becomes
the challenge. You benefit when you allow time for shared reflection when your needs are not
being met. A great deal of self-knowledge will be generated through your discussions around
the issues of power sharing versus unilateral control once you can learn to really hear each
other.
Important Features
Composite Uranus in Scorpio (24° Sco 52'R)
Composite Uranus in the Seventh House
Uranus in the composite chart reveals the area of your shared experience where you will
encounter unusual and unexpected circumstances and where the relationship benefits from
lack of structure.
Uranus in the Seventh House (or sign) gives your relationship a quality of independent and
unique expression. You have an unusual connection, and require independence from each
other as well as bonding in order to make it work. As a partnership, you may also be quite
original in your artistic impulses. Your relationship may itself be your very own shared
masterpiece, stunningly unabashed in its refusal to suffer the consequences of convention.
You two likely feel freer and more alive when you are together than when you are apart from
each other. In a romantic setting, your level of shared affection may dwindle and surge. You

need to bring new approaches to the relationship that can help to resolve these difficulties,
and perhaps may experiment with an unconventional union where you take space from each
other as well as remain together. You benefit from learning not to make promises to each
other that you can't keep. You share an idealistic and philosophical outlook, and a restless
interest in new forms of stimulation. Together, you break new ground. Your lesson in this
partnership may be to transform the partnership energy into a new mode of being that can
serve your individual interests and enliven and invigorate each other in the bargain.
Composite Uranus in Scorpio (or the eighth house) symbolizes a relationship that is willful
with an eclectic sense of shared values and an unusual emotional connection. There is likely
to be an undercurrent of feelings between you, which may in fact uncover each partner's
secret depths. Shared finances are also apt to fluctuate. Your relationship also has the
potential for dramatic eruptions under stress, whether physical, financial or emotional. In a
romantic relationship the emotional stress that you feel from time to time may be part of the
charm of the connection. Sexual passion may have a fitful quality to it, with great intensity at
times, and also times when you need to take space from each other. You may also feel that
you are psychically linked, and be able to tune in on each other's feelings from a distance.
You may also experience joint loss through the sudden departure or unexpected death of a
loved one. If so, such a trial may serve an underlying purpose in your shared life and go a
long way to deepen intimacy and understanding between you. As a partnership, you share a
keen intuition and great power to transform yourselves and your relationship as you evolve.
You also may share an unconventional fascination with sexuality, or issues of death and
rebirth. Your relationship exists in part to enable each of you to discover new dimensions of
your individual emotional experience.
Composite Saturn in Virgo (25° Vir 10')
Composite Saturn in the Fifth House
Saturn in the composite chart reveals the area of your shared experience where you will
encounter limitations and build long-lasting success through trials of accomplishment.
Saturn in the Fifth House (or sign) indicates a blockage in the self-expression in your
relationship. There may seem to be a barrier between you and your partner when it comes to
your capacity creatively express yourselves, or there may be a sense that the relationship
lacks sufficient love and acknowledgement of each partner's contribution. In a romantic
relationship, there is a feeling of heaviness between you that is hard to shake. You have
come together for some very specific purpose, and it does not seem to be the joy of sharing
yourselves with each other, or the laughter of new connection. If you have children, or plan to,
this will become an important focus. There may be difficulties involved, but also a strong bond
developed over the issues of either children or creative productions. There is a joint focus and
perseverance on your creativity together that can slowly build into a lasting structure and
commitment. Together you also have the capacity to take an initial propensity for heaviness
and slowly develop it into a structure that supports ongoing joy between you, but this takes
time and effort. Over time, and with patience and attention, this relationship will help you to
develop each of your capacity to feel and express from your heart-center.
Composite Saturn in Virgo (or the sixth house) brings a deepening and concentration to your
mental powers with each other and to the discriminative faculties of your relationship. You do
not shrink from working hard together, and you inspire each other to put extra effort into
completing a task you have set for yourselves. It may feel natural for one of you to work in a
subordinate capacity. There also may be subconscious fears regarding self-worth that spur
you on, and that may come up for healing between you. This is a great placement for a
business partnership, or any relationship where hard work is required and long-term effort
carefully applied. You both learn, over time, the importance of attending to each detail
regarding your shared projects as well as to your shared emotional life. In a romantic
connection, you two are good at handling minutiae together; but you may have to become
aware of not getting lost in the inconsequential. You also may need to remember to let up on
that discerning eye when it comes to paying attention to each other's heart . There also may

be strong focus on health issues in your partnership. Together, you are seriousminded and
make an excellent working team, whether for personal matters or in contributing something to
the larger world.
Composite Mars in Capricorn (25° Cap 28')
Composite Mars in the Ninth House
The placement of Mars in the composite chart reveals the area of your shared activity in
pursuit of partnership goals, and where ego needs may be identified.
Mars in the Ninth House (or sign) brings a friendly and optimistic quality to the energy of this
relationship, inspiring a spontaneous and impulsive drive for results. You tend to work well
and joyfully together, with competition and jealousy at a minimum, although you are
sometimes scattered in the application of your joint energies, and are perhaps best suited as
a partnership in focusing on the big picture, and delegating the details. You are likely to
explore sports or perhaps gambling when with each other. You tend to lead physically active
lives together, and may find that the perfect day would be an outing in nature such as a hike
rather than anything fancy. You two are idealistic, outspoken and honest with your opinions.
You also have a synergistic propensity for growth, which makes this an ideal placement for
joint learning and development, or for a student-teacher relationship. While your mutual
perspective on the big picture comes easily, you benefit when you slow down, pay attention to
details and concentrate your energies.
Composite Mars in Capricorn (or the tenth house) brings out an ambitious, vigorous and
persistent quality in your relationship, with a conservative and careful drive that almost always
reaches its goals. You generally work well together and are motivated toward achievement,
with a naturally controlled energy that lends itself to effective leadership as long as there are
few issues regarding cooperation between you. This placement makes for an effective
working relationship, especially for projects that require a high degree of intensity. Your joint
action is also likely to be guided by social convention. In a romantic context, you have a
physically active relationship that needs to work hard and play hard together. You may need
to cultivate warmth, sensitivity and a spirit of cooperation and learn to substitute these for your
natural inclination toward scorekeeping. As a partnership, you tend to move forward together
with an elegance that arises out of a concentrated, simple, and straightforward approach. You
are goal oriented and your actions are usually directed rather than impulsive. You may benefit
from cultivating greater spontaneity.
Composite Venus in Taurus (29° Tau 20')
Composite Venus in the Second House
The placement of Venus in the composite chart reveals the area of your shared emotional
focus and love and where mutual enjoyment and benefit lies.
The following paragraph emphasized:
Composite Venus in Taurus (or the second house) indicates that there is a solid basis of good
will and financial stability between you. Your relationship thrives on shared values and a
mutual appreciation of art and beautiful surroundings. If you have a communal space of any
kind it is likely to be elegantly furnished. In a romantic relationship, this placement symbolizes
a strong need for commitment and for creating a pleasurable life style together. Your love is
earthy, grounded and long lasting. It is very likely that you will own your own home or property
at some point in time, should you remain together. You like to entertain and show off your
possessions and your living space. Just be careful not to let your appreciation of the finer
things of life distract you from the internal beauty of the love you feel between you. As a
partnership, you do well in investment or real estate You value material things and excel in
the appraisal and exchange of these things, and indeed with your finances generally. You
have your feet very much on the ground in these matters. You also value art for art's sake,
and will always be able to take an abiding sense of enjoyment from music and the arts.

Composite Moon in Scorpio (23° Sco 49' 58")
Composite Moon in the Seventh House
The placement of the composite Moon defines the core emotional focus of your relationship.
It indicates the most sensitive area between you.
The composite Moon in Libra indicates a relationship that provides a strong sense of beauty,
harmony and mutual rapport to meet its needs for emotional security. You may feel that you
constantly strive for balance between opposing points of view. Your emotional connection is
important to you and benefits your relationship in many ways. In a romantic connection you
have strong feelings of comfort and ease when you are together. With all the courtesy and
graceful elegance that passes between and around you, it is helpful if you can ensure that
your genuine emotional reactions also get across. Together you like to please and should
beware of a tendency to be all things to all people. You two truly enjoy each other's company,
and the company of others, and you may have a frequent need to touch base with each other.
Your relationship possesses an elusive sweetness of nature to which each of you may strive
to be true.
The composite Moon in Scorpio indicates a relationship with complex emotions. Regardless
of your own feeling orientation, you may find that this relationship brings out some charged
emotional material in each of you, and perhaps a shared tendency toward control, or even
domination of your partner, or of others around you. Like your opposite Moon sign, Taurus,
you also tend to be extremely loyal with each other and to those around you. As you work
together over time, your bond becomes unshakable. In a romantic connection, it is likely that
you share a strong sensual connection that brings out passionate feelings between you.
Because you may feel the potential importance of how your responses to each other affect
the relationship, there can be a tendency to withhold emotional realities in an effort to
strategize for happy endings. It will benefit you to remember that the truth, and only the truth,
will set you free. You two can actually have a lot of fun with each other when you decide to
put all your intensity aside and lighten up.< ENDIF > You may learn much from each other
regarding your emotional depths through this relationship.
Composite Mercury in Gemini (16° Gem 26')
Composite Mercury in the Second House
Mercury in the composite chart reveals the quality of the communication process in your
relationship, and an area of your shared experience where intellectual compatibility is to be
found.
Composite Mercury in Taurus brings a slow and thoughtful mentality to your relationship,
which is well grounded in reality. With this placement, you learn more from practical matters
than from schooling. In fact, you two will probably not discuss and share Ideas unless they
have a practical application. You will also tend to consider an idea carefully and thoroughly
before acting on it. This is a great placement for business relationships as well as personal
ones, blessing working partnerships with a gift for sound decision making. This relationship
also inspires an artistic quality of mind, together with a well-developed aesthetic sense. You
may also find in each one of you a strong tendency to go your own way, and to believe what
you want to believe. You each may profit from cultivating a more open-minded attitude. You
benefit when you remember to combine the tried and true with an equal helping of movement
to inspire growth.
Composite Mercury in Gemini brings a keen, alert and expressive mentality to your
relationship. You two have a great versatility together, and have the ability to take up many
different skills. You love variety in your shared life. You two constantly perceive the world
around you, and relate these perceptions to your previous thinking and to those around you.
Your approach to mental pursuits is intellectual, rather than practical, and also may be broad
and varied rather than deep and philosophical. This placement is valuable for both personal

and professional relationships in this Age of Information. You speak rapidly and well with each
other, and enjoy conversation with each other, and also with many different types of people.
You may find that you get restless and anxious with each other from time to time, so that it is
beneficial for the relationship when you cultivate periods of inner stillness, either separately or
together. It also serves this relationship well to cultivate an awareness of the less obvious but
equally powerful nonverbal modes of communication in addition to the verbal mode which
comes so naturally to you.
Composite Sun in Gemini (15° Gem 06' 33")
Composite Sun in the Second House
The placement of the composite Sun defines the core identity of your relationship, and the
place where it finds its greatest vitality. It gives you a sense of the predominant flavor of the
relationship.
With Composite Sun in Taurus, your relationship centers on a strong practical base and a
shared fondness for the pleasures of life. You work best together when focused on practical
concerns. There is also likely to be a strong healing component to your shared endeavors and
together you may have a reputation for loyalty and kindness. You also may find that the time
spent together shapes and clarifies your values. In a romantic context, you two tend to crave
the comfort of relaxing in the warmth of a secure, enclosed environment. Your ruling planet is
Venus, and you likely focus on pleasure and material things Material rewards seem to come
easily to you, and you often find yourselves in the middle of the good life without being
excessively concerned about it. This relationship may take a while to get started, but once it
has gotten its momentum, it tends to move along in a steady and very secure way. Although
you two may seem quiet and almost passive from the outside, you possess a strong sense of
joint will, and as a duo can be quite stubborn at times. You benefit when you work to keep
your thinking flexible. At its best, your partnership provides a practical, purposeful, productive
and stabilizing influence for you and those around you.
The Composite Sun in Gemini symbolizes a relationship that centers on communication,
intellectual musings, social concerns and a natural curiosity about life and other people.
Gemini is associated with Mercury, therefore with logical thought process, communication and
the conscious mind. You communicate well with each other, sharing witty exchanges and a
compatible sense of humor, and may find yourselves naturally hosting many an excellent
conversation. In a romantic relationship, verbal connection is an important mode of staying in
touch, and provides the necessary glue for your relationship. Your connection with each other
may come in two highly contrasting forms, one very bright, the other dark. You may find that
this relationship induces a butterfly quality that inspires the two of you to lightly engage in
many varied experiences to gain knowledge. Unlike more possessive relationships, yours
tends toward liberty and freedom. You are likely to find that together, you enjoy both learning
from and teaching each other and those around you. You may be just the ones to take on a
joint writing project of some kind. When you find yourselves bored, a little focus can go a long
way toward helping you both tap into your tremendous shared intellectual and artistic
possibilities.
Composite Chiron in Taurus (19° Tau 13')
Composite Chiron in the First House
Chiron in the composite chart reveals the area of your shared experience where you will
encounter patterns of wounds and deep connection and where eventual healing and empathy
will occur.
Chiron in the First House (or sign) indicates a relationship that provides an opportunity for the
two of you to face and heal deeply held wounds with regard to your vital force to be and to
initiate within the relationship. With this placement of Chiron, your very sense of the
relationship may be threatened by disturbing realizations and painful memories. Together,

you may work through pain that arose from feeling belittled and put down, rather than
encouraged, by the significant adult figures around you in your formative years. Within this
relationship you may encounter and overcome obstacles that prevent yourselves from
reaching your full potential. You may find that in this relationship, you operate more from a
fear of failing than from the expectation of success that would breed confidence for further
achievement. You may find yourselves sacrificing your own goals to the goals of the other, or
to those around you, because they seem somehow more important or at least deserving of
priority treatment. Either one of you may feel a keen lack of achievement in your own life, and
compensate by trying too hard to help others, putting yourself in the background. As long as
these relationship patterns operate more or less unconsciously, they are difficult to overcome,
so the first step in surmounting them is to become more conscious of what's going on inside.
Become aware of your own pain. Acknowledge and discover more about what exactly went
on in past relationships to make you both feel so resigned with your present abilities in this
one. At that point you can begin to come out from behind your painful experiences and really
show yourselves to each other and to the world around you. With a more conscious
understanding of your own dynamics, you can begin to help others in how they deal with
similar issues, transforming your false sense of vicarious achievement into a strong center of
true friendship.
Composite Chiron in Taurus (or the Second House) indicates a relationship that provides an
opportunity for you to face deeply held wounds with regard to your ability to attain sustenance
and maintain possessions. With this placement of Chiron, physical resources challenge your
relationship. One or both of you may have seen everything taken away at one time or
another, or you may have risen above challenging circumstances materially, demonstrate a
painful attitude toward material well being. Perhaps you must face fears that possessions
dominate the life of the relationship. Where others are able to count on their resources and
trust that they will have what they need, either materially, or physically, or within their own
psyches, you may find yourselves suspicious that what you have will not last. Even if it is
more than adequate by some standards, it seems somehow not enough to satisfy you. These
feelings may also spill over into deep issues regarding the relationship's core values, or that
which defines it in terms of what you both choose to support and give credence to. You may
feel at sea in this area, rather than on stable ground, not sure about what you do and don't
find attractive. These ambivalent feelings toward material possessions and values may find
their roots in early childhood relationships, in which one or both of you perhaps experienced
pain getting what you wanted for yourselves, independent of those who had authority over
you. Sometimes these issues are so painful that it is easier not to deal with them directly.
Getting in touch with these deep and partially repressed feelings is of ultimate importance for
the success of the relationship. When you can confront the parts of yourselves and your
relationship that are painful and scary, and begin to integrate the feelings that you have
buried away, you will become more in charge of your relationship and the course that you
each take through life as well.
Sun, Moon, Rising Sign Features
Taurus Rising
The composite Rising Sign is the image that this partnership presents to others and
characterizes the nature of the relationship.
Relationships with composite Taurus rising tend to orient themselves to the pleasures of life.
You will likely find that together you value pleasure and material things. Your ruling planet is
Venus, and you may find that you have an artistic flair both as a partnership, and also
individually whenever you come together. You also may find that this is a healing relationship.
Your partnership brings out qualities of obedience, loyalty and kindness in each of you.
Although as a duo you may seem quiet on the surface, almost passive, you possess a

powerful joint will, and may be inspired to be quite stubborn at times. You tend to hold on
strongly to projects that you mutually put your heart into, and together you possess the ability
to breathe new life into an almost lost cause. In a romantic relationship, you share a sensual
desire for close contact with one another. You are also likely to crave the security and comfort
of relaxing in the warmth of your private environment. If you share a home you will work hard
to make it an attractive one. Your partnership is quite a pragmatic one, having a practical
basis that provides you with purpose, productivity and stability, although you may also find
that you can get rigid in your thinking at times. Material rewards come easily to you, enabling
you to lead the good life without being excessively concerned about it. You benefit as a
partnership by staying as open as you can to new possibilities when they arise.
Composite Sun in strong conjunction
(exact) with Mercury
The strongest blend of the energies represented by these two planets.
This placement gives your relationship strong communication skills. There may be a shared
delight in mental pursuits. You two naturally understand each other's heads and hearts, and
often know what the other person is saying even before they have finished saying it.
Composite Sun in trine
(exact) with Pluto
The planetary energies flow smoothly; the connection is easy and beneficial.
This aspect between composite Sun and Pluto signifies a powerful intensity of connection
between you. This relationship is likely to change your whole life. Pluto's presence may
express itself as an almost compulsive joint urge for self-transformation in each of you, and
the relationship may itself go through many changes, as you transform both individually and in
the way that you express yourselves as a unit. This may be a large part of the reason that you
have come together, and together you have tremendous capacity for regeneration and rebirth.
There is a strong force magnetizing your involvement with each other and an inclination to
stay absorbed in the relationship as long as it lasts. You may have experienced a fated quality
when you first met, a feeling of recognition that you perhaps belong to the same tribe, or
come from the same far away place. If this is a romantic relationship, you may find that you
use your sexuality to play with and work through power issues. In a business partnership, you
tend to drive hard, and can work single-mindedly as a team to pursue joint goals and to easily
establish your place in the market. Whatever the basis for your relationship, it benefits you to
train your considerable energy on the cultivation of the yin qualities of vulnerability, surrender
and cooperation. As you learn how to get out of your own way and to treat each other with
kindness, you surrender control while maintaining your powerful focus in a more conscious
manner. Then your relationship can become a focal point for the transformation of society
itself.

concentrated focus on intention and a powerful achievement orientation. This is a great
placement for business partnerships and for friendships with a mutual goal in mind. In a

orientation to joint projects that you wish to undertake. You may wind up in business together,
or provide excellent support each other in your individual career objectives. As a partnership
you are likely to be in agreement on where the relationship is headed, and determined in
promoting your joint agenda. Your higher purpose would seem to lie in advancing the cause
of social as well as personal goals.
Composite Moon in strong sextile
(exact) with Mars
The planetary energies flow together, open into new possibilities, new connections.

This aspect between composite Moon and Mars brings a powerful emotional presence to your
connection with each other. As a partnership you tend to experience a sometimes difficult and
at other times harmonious give and take, meeting each other in profound and penetrating
ways. Although kind and benevolent in your intentions, you may behave with a great deal of
intensity toward one another , and in a romantic relationship there can be extremes of anger
and love . You can be fierce and fiery with each other in one moment, and passionate and
poetic in the next. There is a vigorous and daring quality here. Your emotional responses and
your physical responses interconnect so completely you may only learn what you feel after
seeing yourselves in action. And when feelings start to arise between you, you may find
yourselves acting on them immediately. This creates energy and passion, and in a love
connection makes for a sizzling romance. You tend to think deeply together, but you may find
yourselves intolerant if you suspect that the other partner is somehow not taking your feelings
into account. You may as a unit experience a restless, nervous tension, and it benefits you to
engage in constructive activity together as an outlet for all that energy. All in all, you know
how to balance well between getting close to each other and maintaining your own sense of
individuality.
Composite Moon in strong trine
(exact) with Jupiter
The planetary energies flow smoothly; the connection is easy and beneficial.
This aspect between composite Moon and Jupiter gives your relationship an optimistic and
emotionally nurturing quality, and brings out a large capacity for emotional response between
you. Regardless of how you operate on your own, you tend to feel optimistic in each other's
company and may count on this relationship to be a consistent source of joy and
encouragement. Together, you assume an idealistic and humanitarian approach to life, and
share your inherent spiritual warmth with those around you. In a romantic relationship, you
possess a capacity to be loving and caring while still remaining strong in character. Thus, you
can easily hold space for the diversity of emotional processes that unfold between you and
around you. Fortunate in finance, you tend to attract material rewards without seeming to try
for them, which makes this a good placement for business as well as personal connections.
Together, you are honorable and dependable in your dealings with others, and work well with
the public.
Composite Moon in strong sextile
(exact) with Saturn
The planetary energies flow together, open into new possibilities, new connections.
With this aspect between composite Moon and Saturn, your relationship has a responsible,
centered and hard-working basis that also might be experienced as a blockage of emotional
connection between you. With this aspect, you may provide each other with the right blend of
encouragement and stability to make each of your own lives happen. Initially this relationship
may bring out a caution or reserve in your make-up, along with a sound emphasis on the
practicalities of life. Over time, however, this same energy will tend to provide you both with a
stable and enduring emotional bond. In a romantic relationship, it benefits you to consciously
work through any sense of rigidity, putting extra effort into the enthusiastic mining of your
feelings. Together, you may be extremely sensitive and able to help each other recover from
a strict upbringing. This relationship may be a place where you get to take a good look back
at your parental figures, especially your mother, who you might have experienced as rejecting
or uncaring. The lesson for you here is to take advantage of each other and the relationship to
begin to understand and value the true roots of your being more fully and deeply, leading to a
better sense of security and greater self-acceptance. You may reflect for each other problems
you both experienced with the parental care and guidance received as children. You win
when you learn to discover, accept and integrate the world of emotions, practice expressing
your love and appreciation for each other on a regular basis, and then back up your words
with actions. Repeat as necessary.
Composite Moon in strong conjunction

(exact) with Uranus
The strongest blend of the energies represented by these two planets.
With this aspect between composite Moon and Uranus, your relationship has an eccentric
and unique home base. Your connection is likely to be an unusual one, with a strong intuitive
link between you. Things are never dull, although the resulting emotional instability can
represent a challenge if one of you attempts to stay within the bounds of a more conservative
approach. In a business partnership, you may have come together around the concept of new
ways of living. Novelty excites you both. In a romantic connection, you are likely to be
extremely honest with each other, and this is a high virtue, although you may find that it gets a
little abrasive from time to time. If you can manage to solidify your connection, fresh thoughts
and lightening-like exchanges can clear the air like a good storm, washing away the debris
and inspiring you to take your emotional involvement to new levels. You don't do well with
anything resembling boredom. You may change your residence frequently, or be always
starting new projects and adventures. Sudden mood swings could also make it difficult to
experience stability together. You may find that you need to take space emotionally from each
other at times, and this is actually healthy for you in the context of this particular relationship.
You may frequently find, for example, that your plans regarding any shared space that you
have together change rather suddenly. You benefit when you take advantage of what this
relationship brings, learn to trust in its ebb and flow, and balance your need for security with
your urge for freedom and experimentation.
Composite Moon in opposition
(exact) with Venus
The planetary energies are polarized; outer events stimulate their interaction; integration is
the challenge.
This aspect between composite Moon and Venus brings a loving, calm and steady presence
to your relationship, although there can be a difficult edge from time to time. You tend to love
luxury and refinement, and it is important to your relationship that you get to work and play
with nice things. Together, you emanate social charm and attractiveness, and your loving
disposition brings grace to any room you inhabit. This is a wonderful aspect for a romantic
connection, and also serves well for parents or for professional colleagues working in an
artistic environment. There may be complementary differences of opinion between you
regarding what you expect to get out of any given situation. The trick here is to walk into your
shared encounters knowing exactly what you want to get out of them, and stay focused. The
same holds true for your shared relationship to money. Have patience with your partner's
needs and desires. Together, you possess a great deal of personal charm, and also have a
love for the arts, especially music and dance. You tend to be courteous and popular as a
couple, and you go out of your way to be supportive to friends.
Composite Moon in semi-sextile
(exact) with Neptune
The planetary energies attract each other, require effort, allow entry of new information.
With this aspect between composite Moon and Neptune, your relationship has a powerful
emotional basis stemming from a high degree of sensitivity between you. This aspect
primarily indicates an emotionally sensitive, idealistic and loving relationship, although there
could also be illusions or even deceptions between you. Together you possess an ethereal
quality, noticeable to others, and a strong imagination with a propensity for withdrawing from
the world from time to time into internal fantasies of your own making. You benefit by clearly
applying your joint high ideals and from striving to ground the emotional sensitivity that you
share into the world of logic and fact that must be negotiated as an important part of living
here.
Composite Moon in opposition
(within 1.5 degrees) with Chiron
The planetary energies are polarized; outer events stimulate their interaction; integration is
the challenge.

This aspect in your composite chart symbolizes a relationship in which there is difficulty with
the feminine and nurturing side of life, and also great potential for healing these areas as you
work together. Of course the important early model for the feminine is mother, and it is likely
that one or both of you experienced some degree of painful episodes there. If there were such
traumas in your early relationship with your own mother or significant female parental figure,
in the course of this relationship these may be helped toward resolution. In a marriage
partnership, there may also be issues to be healed with your children, and the mothering and
nurturing that they require. Role models may also come into play here, as you expand your
understanding of who you really are in the context of this relationship. Issues with mother are
of course endemic in both modern and ancient culture, as typified in mythology. Perhaps you
had a close relationship, but yet your needs were somehow not met, resulting in unconscious
resentments which only surfaced later in your adult life. Or there may have been emotional or
physical abuse. These experiences are so painful that they are often suppressed from
consciousness, and buried deep in the psyche. It is important as you progress through life to
move past the resentment caused by early wounding into a more conscious and
compassionate reconciliation with the walled off parts of your own nature. In order to make
progress here, deep psychological process of some variety is strongly indicated, perhaps
through therapy, and the issues that come up in close interpersonal relationship often
represent a catalyst and provide guideposts for constructive change. Of course it does take
work. If you shrink from the task, you may take heart in the fact that these issues will remain,
and eventually you will find the way to deal with them. The effort is enormous, but the rewards
are just as great. Once you have begun to make conscious the pain and alienation
surrounding events from the long buried past, through the agency of this relationship, you can
begin to truly be of help others as well as yourselves.
Composite Moon in quintile
(exact) with Midheaven
The planetary energies are positively linked, subtle, and spiritual in dimension.
With this aspect between composite Moon and the Midheaven, your relationship has a strong
emotional basis with the possibility of a domestic or parenting focus. You have a very soft
appeal to each other, in friendship or a romantic connection. If the latter, this is one of the
best indications for a shared vision of living together and starting a family. The Moon here
indicates that the mothering and feminine side of each of you is a strong part of your
relationship equation and that you have commonly held goals there. The sexual chemistry
between you may not sizzle, but it is steady and sweet, and your union definitely percolates
through your lives in many ways to enrich you both. This makes for a very nurturing
relationship in general. You will be prone to take care of each other through the course of
time, and of others around you that you connect with as a partnership. You may work together
to develop a vehicle for your caring and socially oriented values such as a plan to feed large
groups of people. In any case you will be supportive of such values as may be in the process
of emerging on the world scene.

good balance between you of individual and shared goals. As a partnership you may find that
the complementary balance of give and take between you makes for a strong connection.
You may together posses a lively appreciation for the arts, especially singing and dancing, or
other musical forms. You possess an innate kindness and demonstrate a love for your fellow
beings on the planet that makes you well liked and well trusted by those around you.
Composite Venus in trine
(exact) with Saturn

The planetary energies flow smoothly; the connection is easy and beneficial.
This aspect between composite Venus and Saturn brings a potential blockage to your
relationship, as well as a deepening and a concentration of your powers. With this aspect,
although you may notice you don't get what you want from each other, you are likely to have a
strong sense of duty to the partnership, and to be very loyal with each other. You may feel as
though you were working at cross-purposes at times. Especially in a romantic relationship,
obstacles to do with distance, age, lack of availability or the like, may crop up on your joint
path, making it difficult for you get to where you want to go with each other. Even in a
business-oriented partnership, these types of issues may present problems and keep you
from feeling as though you were entirely on the same page with each other. In the long run, or
in a more business-oriented relationship, this aspect can provide a strong and steady
structure that actually supports the manifestation of your shared dreams and desires. If you
can work with the obstacles that may plague you at the outset, you will find this placement
can eventually become your greatest asset, supporting the engine of your shared desires
moving in a very specific direction.

Other Natal Planets
Composite N Node in Leo (15° Leo 04'R)
Composite N Node in the Fourth House
Lunar North Node in the Fourth House (or sign). South Node in the tenth house or sign. This
placement in a composite chart signifies that the relationship has a strong need for emotional
security. Each of you may feel like you are special, a person of great achievements, and you
may in the past even feel isolated in your singularity, as though in previous lifetimes you had
spent a great deal of your energy on getting to the top. But as the refrain goes, "It's lonely at
the top" and your focus now as you relate to one another will be on getting a better sense of
who you really are, at the level of your emotional roots. You will find that as you advance in
your life, and especially in the context of this partnership, that your home life is increasingly
important to you. Exploring the depths of your beings through meditation or some sort of
transpersonal process work will also be extremely beneficial as you explore your deeper
sides. Although as a partnership you may feel tempted to go out and achieve in the world of
career and public life, for which you have a natural affinity, it is in the area of establishing a
secure base of operations, and of nurturing your immediate community of friends and family
that you find your greatest fulfillment, this time around.
Composite Lunar North Node in Leo (or the fifth house). South Node in the eleventh house or
sign. This placement in a composite chart signifies that within this relationship you each have
a focus on being recognized and admired for the personal creativity that you manifest. You
are fortunate in this lifetime, for few people have the capacity, as the two of you do, of actually
making your dreams come true. You are engaged through the agency of this relationship in a
process of concretizing your thought images, turning the products of your extraordinarily
clever intellects into actual manifestation in the world. In the past, you may have specialized
in ideals and imaginings, without giving much thought to working these out in the real world.
But in the context of this relationship you find that your focus bends toward actually
manifesting these into form. When you are on your true path with each other, you find that
you must act and create, for in acting you give shape to the otherwise indistinct and ideal, and
in so doing fulfill a major purpose of your coming together.
Composite Lilith in Aries (27° Ari 17')
Composite Lilith in the Twelfth House
Black Moon Lilith represents the apogee of the lunar orbit, where it lies farthest from the
earth. This mystical astrological point cycles once around the chart every nine years, and is
quite different from the asteroid named Lilith having a much faster cycle of about four years,
and also differs from the hypothetical "Dark Moon" second satellite of the Earth, studied since
the mid-nineteenth century but never confirmed astronomically. Presumably these other
astrological factors also share in the Lilith archetype, but Black Moon Lilith has been the most

typically used in modern Western Astrology.
Lilith represents an important piece of the feminine that has been lost or even shunned in
modern patriarchal society. She was worshipped in ancient Babylonia as the handmaiden of
Innana and also viewed with distrust as the archetype of wild and uncontrolled sexuality. She
is identified in Hebrew mythology as the first and rejected wife of Adam, who found her too
argumentative, and too insistent on having an equal footing with his male ascendancy. She
has thus come to represent the principle of equality between the sexes, being also associated
with raw sexual power and its spiritual use as in Tantra practice. She is also a fitting
archetype for the dark unknown part of ourselves that represents our unchained sexuality,
and the female portion of either a man's or a woman's basic nature. Her archetype also
includes the rage of being repressed and excluded from everyday life. Like Chiron, Lilith
represents the potentially walled-off world of dark, instinctual urges that come from deep
inside ourselves and lead us toward transcendence. When her influence is developed and
explored through spiritual practice, she becomes a powerful ally for healing and regaining
wholeness. Where she is found in the chart, either by aspect or by house position, she urges
us to explore the dark unknown and instinctual side of feminine sexuality and to embrace the
healing power of acknowledging and honoring this influence.
The Twelfth House refers to the unconscious and to things beyond the physical plane. It is
traditionally associated with confinement and self-undoing, and has been called the house of
karma. Planets in this house indicate functions that are hidden from your conscious
personality, and are expressed in terms of psychic faculty or self-sacrifice.
Composite Earth in Sagittarius (15° Sag 07')
Composite Earth in the Eighth House
The Eighth House symbolizes issues of death and rebirth, sexuality, and transformation. As
this house follows the house of relationship, it refers to the fruits of relationship, and these
include the power to change based on new understanding made possible when one is no
longer acting solely as an individual. Planets in this house are difficult to interpret, but may
refer to how sexuality is manifested or to lessons you need to learn in order to grow and
change.

of thought. Together, you see the deeper aspects of any subject matter that you single out for
study, and have the capacity to discourse forcefully about it. These skills can make you a
particularly strong business partnership. Because you share such a powerful gift of
persuasion, be sure that you speak from a place of deep integrity within yourselves. In a
romantic relationship you might need to consider that the mind is great for many things, but
getting safe is not one of them. For this, you must drop into your emotional body. By honestly
expressing your needs, you can transform fear into freedom. When you use your powers of
insight and expression wisely, you become exemplars of a new way of thought, building

the challenge.

tendency toward the impractical. Though the two of you are motivated to achieve success,
you will likely run into some self-imposed barriers on the road to achieving it. There may be a
gap between your ambition and what you actually can accomplish. You tend not to be content
with the extent of your responsibilities until you have taken on too much, leading to the
problem of actually fulfilling these obligations. As a partnership, you also may have too limited
and narrow a view of your potential, so that you aim too low, and garner less than you are
capable of. This could lead to problems with material well being, or a tendency toward being
too cautious and thrifty for your own good. Your relationship benefits from cultivating a more
confident and generous attitude, and finding greater contentment with your present resources.

you will push the envelop, and usually successfully. You have an instinct for following unusual
leads and for knowing just how much is enough. You are likely to experience sudden and
surprising opportunities throughout the lifetime of this relationship, which may involve travel to

your shared talent for innovation.

understand, as long as you can avoid the obvious power struggle and begin to truly work
together rather and apart from each other. In a romantic relationship, it may help to sort out
your conflicting aspirations and sit down together to prioritize them. Once you do, you may
find that this relationship ushers you both into a deeper level of surrender and transformation .

Composite Jupiter in sextile
(exact) with Chiron

With this aspect in your composite chart you are likely to be engaged in a relationship that

has a strong connection with it's own unique brand of spirituality. One or both of you may
have been wounded in your inherited beliefs in some way; perhaps in your early life you may
have been forced into relationship with some sort of spiritual community to which you did not
feel a deep bond. If so, this issue remains to haunt you to a greater or lesser extent in your
adult life, and it is likely that this relationship will have a positive affect on the situation.
Through conversations and activities with your partner, you may well feel your way into a
different and more fulfilling connection with the divine, as manifesting in each of your hearts
and minds, although not necessarily from the standpoint of any other societal group. Together
you have an abiding interest in matters of religion and philosophy, although this is likely to
represent your own style of spiritual involvement rather than any form of spiritual institution.
Composite Saturn in square
(exact) with Neptune
The planetary energies conflict; internal and creative tensions bring rich rewards through
effort over time.
This aspect can bring clear thinking, discrimination and grounded action to what otherwise
might be a very nebulous relationship. You two tend to be responsible, compassionate and
take social issues very seriously. You may participate in an active way with music or the
healing arts. With these two planets in challenging aspect, however, you may find that the
limitations of Saturn combined with the confusion of Neptune leaves you both feeling
depressed about the general state of things from time to time. You may suffer through a
series of trials before eventually learning to work these energies into their more positive
forms. Then, sturdy Saturn serves to ground the grand visions of Neptune, allowing you two
to give form to the inexpressible in a way that serves both the relationship and the world
beyond it.

each other. You will do better when you allow things to develop in their own way and give
credit to your evolving mutual intuition of where the two of you are headed. It may be that
together you will find involvement in the science of future social development or a new
thought orientation.
Composite Pluto in inconjunct
(within 0.4 degrees) with Chiron
The planetary energies do not flow smoothly, one or the other predominates; discrimination
must be employed.
With this aspect in your composite chart you are likely to be engaged in a relationship in
which there is difficulty and also great healing potential around issues of power and control.
There may also be compulsive behavior on the part of one or both partners that comes up for
greater acceptance and eventual healing during the course of this relationship. As a result of
your life experiences before coming together, one or both of you may have a tendency to
plunge into the depths of despair or the heights of manic madness as a form of compensatory
reaction to over-indulgence in one form or another of a compulsive desire nature, perhaps

expressed in terms of sexuality or abuse of power. Potent healing abilities are ultimately
indicated with this placement, but you must first work through some tough issues, and this
relationship can be life changing in that regard. Of course the relationship will be an important
testing ground where power and control issues emerge, and where a tremendous increase in
consciousness around them may result, but that is only the first step. There is a lot of work
that needs to be done, and the nature of this work is that a good deal of it must be done
alone. However, the safety zone of a mutually agreed conscious relationship can be an
invaluable asset in pursuing such rewards. There are great depths of passion within each one
of you, likely the result of painful experiences from early childhood, and there is tremendous
benefit to be gained when these experiences become better integrated. When you become
more conscious of these patterns you have a huge capacity to heal yourself and even others
in your circle. As a partnership you have a keen intuition for each other, and great power to
transform not only yourselves and your relationship but the larger collective surrounding you
as well.
Composite Sun in weak square
(exact) with Jupiter
The planetary energies conflict; internal and creative tensions bring rich rewards through
effort over time.
This aspect between composite Sun and Jupiter gives your relationship an optimistic and
high-spirited quality, with a strong bent toward growth and expansion. As a partnership you
are likely to be fortunate in your material surroundings. You are likely to be convivial and
lively, generous with both your money and your affections. You may share a tendency to
overdo things, or to overindulge in the things you love. You may also experience some
degree of conflict between your material and your spiritual aspirations. Together, you have an
attraction to higher learning and travel, or other ways of expanding your mutual horizons. You
may want to be aware of a potential extravagant edge to your shared activities, so that you
benefit when you look carefully before you leap and are patient with each other when the surf
is low. Rest assured knowing that another set of waves will eventually come along and sweep
you off onto the next adventure.
Composite Sun in weak opposition
(exact) with Neptune
The planetary energies are polarized; outer events stimulate their interaction; integration is
the challenge.
With this aspect between composite Sun and Neptune, your relationship has vision and
creativity, with a high degree of sensitivity between you. You will find that your connection has
an unworldly, ethereal side, a marked remoteness from the ordinary day to day. There could
be issues of idealism or fantasy, perhaps even outright deception that you will mutually work
through in the course of this partnership. In a romantic connection, your relationship may
revolve around art, music or the healing modalities. You two have the propensity to provide
an escape for each other, and you could make great drinking buddies. It benefits you to
support each other's awakening rather than self-deceptive illusions. If you do, you may take
advantage of the safe container this relationship provides to help each other to dive deeply
into your emotional process, transforming fogginess into clarity, especially when you can form
a sense of trust for the exchange of accurate and gently delivered feedback. If used wisely,
the otherworldly energy of Neptune provides your relationship with a tremendous sensitivity
and creativity that can manifest in both healing and artistic channels.
Composite Mercury in weak square
(exact) with Jupiter
The planetary energies conflict; internal and creative tensions bring rich rewards through
effort over time.
This aspect between composite Mercury and Jupiter gives your relationship an optimistic
edge and brings a talkative and clever aspect to your communication with each other. You
two are likely to be fond of intellectual musings. As a partnership you are concerned with

higher mind adventures that may include travel or educational perspectives. You are likely to
be known for having the gift of social gab, and naturally radiate positive messages to others
around you. The two of you can probably come up with a myriad of conversational angles on
any subject that arises. Together you tend to inspire optimism in each other and those around
you, although you can be somewhat scattered or prone to exaggeration at times. You may be
at times rash of speech with each other. As a partnership, you walk a fine line between
judging and insight, and you will perhaps get better results when you stick with the latter. The
tension inherent in this placement can be entirely creative as well and brings an exciting
ability to verbally light up the scenery, which could include joint writing projects together. The
keywords to ensure your success are focus and follow through. Your relationship will benefit
when narrow down to choose one scheme, and commit to it in a step-by-step way, resisting
your urge to either give up or leap ahead.
Composite Mercury in weak opposition
(exact) with Neptune
The planetary energies are polarized; outer events stimulate their interaction; integration is
the challenge.
This aspect between composite Mercury and Neptune indicates a clever and imaginative
relationship but one with the potential for miscommunication and deceptive illusion between
you. You are bound to connect very deeply with each other on subtle, psychic and
unconscious levels, and you also are bound to run into some confusion while doing it. You
communicate in a very sensitive and attuned way, with a capacity to feel each other, literally,
across time and space. However, when it comes to practical interchanges, you may find that
the ideas you mutually generate get only half-baked, or that they come out of the oven with
several key ingredients missing. You might have been sure that you got your point across, for
example, only to find out later that it was grossly misinterpreted. In a romantic relationship
with this placement, you do well to develop alternative modes of communicating. When
making joint decisions, you could try tuning into your hearts or your guts rather than your
heads, relying on what you feel and know, rather than on what you think at the time. It
benefits you to share your secrets, developing a regular practice of revealing more and
omitting less, and to experience the vulnerability and joy that comes from breaking through
limiting fantasies or the appearance of aloof detachment. As you work through these
challenges, you gain access to your capacity to experience visionary and poetic realities with
each other, and to enjoy your incredible sensitivity together, hopefully learning to clearly
channel the truths that arise out of your joint imagination for the benefit of yourselves and the
society around you.
Composite Mercury in weak trine
(exact) with Midheaven
The planetary energies flow smoothly; the connection is easy and beneficial.
With this aspect between composite Mercury and the Midheaven, your relationship has a
strong mental focus with the potential for many and varied conversations. You may have
come together to practice some form of communication oriented business venture. You
undoubtedly have a strong communication orientation in your relationship, and likely converse
well on many topics together. In a romantic relationship you may feel the need to balance
your head with your heart. The excellent communication that you share will compensate for
many difficulties, but a strong emotional basis must also an important component of your
shared connection. As a team you have a terrific ability to reach out verbally to the world
outside your partnership, either in spoken or written form, with a restless curiosity that
touches on many subjects. You may enter into a joint writing project or encourage others to
do the same. Leavening your wit and wisdom with an emotional depth and sharing it in that
way with society around you gives you the best of both worlds.
Composite Venus in weak opposition
(exact) with Uranus
The planetary energies are polarized; outer events stimulate their interaction; integration is

the challenge.
This aspect between composite Venus and Uranus brings to your relationship an eccentric
and unconventional method of relating to each other, with a unique ability to come together in
new ways. In a romantic context, you will likely explore, experiment, and explore some more.
You just won't be able to put what you have into any kind of box. You may act unpredictably
at times, making it hard for you and others to feel stable and comfortable around your
relationship. You may have difficulty in settling down into the nuts and bolts of partnership
with each other. You two are likely to be enthusiastic socially and to love the stimulation and
excitement of new contacts . In a romantic relationship you may have to allow for the
possibility of other connections rather than attempting a traditional one-on-one approach.
Your potential with each other is also quite variable, making it hard to know exactly where this
relationship is headed. You benefit from attempting to bring a steady and consistent focus to
your many interests and activities together, and when you allow space for your shared need
for freedom.
Composite Mars in weak square
(exact) with Pluto
The planetary energies conflict; internal and creative tensions bring rich rewards through
effort over time.
With this aspect between composite Mars and Pluto, your relationship has a passionate
intensity and also the potential for explosive conflict. There is a powerful connection between
you based around the concept of self-assertion, either yours or your partner's, and one
reason that you have come together at this time is to attempt to heal this issue in your lives.
This aspect also signals a tremendous drive for power and transformation of self, forged in
the combined energies of your partnership, although there may come a point at which you will
be forced to decide if the gain is worth the pain in this situation. In a romantic connection, your
sexual magnetism and activity is likely to be strong, as well as issues of power and control
that constantly crop up between you. The pattern of your relationship may be such that one of
you appears timid or unsure to the other partner much of the time, since the power urge when
problematic commonly hides deep underground, but there is the potential for sudden bursts of
anger when repressed emotion finally finds its way to the surface. One or both of you may
compensate for feelings of insecurity by being forceful, compulsive or even obsessive about
achieving their will, leading to confrontation. These issues will come up in the course of this
relationship for the ultimate purpose of working them out and eventual healing. It is of course
quite helpful when you both stay as conscious as you can regarding the underlying dynamic
of your reactions. Trying to change the other person will prove impossible in this relationship.
No matter how much will you bring to bear, and this relationship gives you plenty to work with,
no amount of energy or endurance will help you achieve that particular aim. It profoundly
benefits your relationship if you each can move away from blame or outbursts of resentment
and rage, and instead tune into your inner process, or simply surrender to Spirit and the
beyond. This simple act can make you feel a little more humble and a lot more whole.
Composite Mars in weak trine
(exact) with Chiron
The planetary energies flow smoothly; the connection is easy and beneficial.
With this aspect in your composite chart you are likely to be engaged in a relationship in
which there is great healing potential around the issues of expressing anger and exerting
personal will. It may be that one or both of you have had painful experiences, perhaps in your
early childhood, with violence or potential violence on the part of someone close to you. As
you continually work through whatever arises in your daily interactions with each other, these
types of issues may come up for acceptance and healing. Since the powerful emotions
associated with such woundings hover below the level of consciousness it is often the case
that your self-awareness around them truly begins to manifest only in your relationship
connection. You may also be called upon as a partnership to exert a beneficial influence
regarding these issues on others around you. When you become more conscious and
accepting of these patterns in yourself, as you work through them in the course of this

relationship, you will less and less need to act them out. A better level of integration is
possible, producing a more self-assured and powerful personality.
Composite Saturn in weak trine
(exact) with Chiron
The planetary energies flow smoothly; the connection is easy and beneficial.
With this aspect in your composite chart you are likely to be engaged in a relationship in
which there is great healing potential around issues of authority. It may be that one or both of
you have had painful experiences as a child, when you were forced to submit to an arbitrary
authority or limitation of some kind. Perhaps you had the experience of a bad father or in adult
life you may endlessly achieve positions of authority and then have second thoughts about it.
As you continually work through whatever arises in your daily interactions with each other,
these types of issues may come up for acceptance and eventual healing. Since the powerful
associated emotions may lie below the level of your ordinary awareness, your relationship
connection may help to bring them to consciousness, and eventually acceptance. As a
partnership, you may also wind up working these issues with others. You may be the ones to
re-work the structure of society itself in some way, or to become advisors or leaders in the
social sphere, perhaps in connection with organizations devoted to new age healing
techniques. A better level of integration is possible, producing a more self-assured and
balanced personality, independent from parental influences or even of those of society.
Composite Uranus in weak opposition
(exact) with Chiron
The planetary energies are polarized; outer events stimulate their interaction; integration is
the challenge.
With this aspect in your composite chart your relationship has a strong spiritual connection
with it's own unique brand of philosophical outlook. As a partnership, you are likely to be
prone to sudden insights and departures from consensus thinking. One or both of you
probably has an unusual combination of personality traits in which you are very
unconventional yet also somewhat unsure of yourself in your very departure from the rest of
society, so that you may surprisingly show flashes of a conservative side. You are likely to
have brilliant and refreshingly unconventional minds, and this combination of personality traits
may have drawn you to each other in the first place. Now you can form a conspiracy of two
that defeats the pressure to conform that constantly comes at you from the surrounding social
setting. In this way, and with this very important support for each other, your relationship can
be extraordinarily healing for you both, especially in the area of your own uncertainties
regarding your resistance to the straight and narrow. You have a creative perspective that
allows you to go far in pursuing your own unique brand of spirituality.

used to refer to the description of how current planetary positions are affecting you
