least twice a week.

Personable and social, a team player
Organisational skills and managing deadlines

No BA Hons degree
Only a few years of professional experience

A career in the arts was always the plan. Although after dropping out of a Graphic Design
University course (big mistake) and having a young family I spent years working in different
areas, but never finding anything close to the passion that I have for design, although
gaining many skills relevant to the field (customer service for eg). So, for the last 4 years I
have been teaching myself elements of design I felt I was weak on technically and
theoretically. As well as fine tuning the skills I already have. Although I may have gaps
in certain areas of my knowledge I see these as opportunities to learn and improve as
I have done so by myself but also in many paid projects where I have learned to
adapt and pivot at a moment’s notice.
I feel I have a lot to offer in many areas of design, going through this
experience truly has given me the confidence to face problems head on
and know that through persistence, working intelligently and
sensitively there is no creative obstacle I can’t overcome.
Having spent time working closely with many different
clients, taking their ideas and turning them
into functioning designs is a true
passion and one I improve on
every day.
