3 TSP SUGAR
1 TSP SALT
1 CUP OF WARM WATER
1 TBSP BUTTER (OR MARGARINE)
BLOCK OF GOATS CHEESE
5 SPRINGS OF ROSEMARY
INSTRUCTIONS
ROUGHLY CHOP THE GOAT’S CHEESE
CHOP UP 3 SPRIGS OF ROSEMARY. (OTHER SPRIGS ARE FOR ON TOP)
MIX THE FLOUR, SALT AND YEAST IN A LARGE BOWL
MAKE A WELL IN THE CENTRE THEN ADD THE BUTTER AND WATER AND
MIX WELL
ADD THE CHOPPED GOAT’S CHEESE AND ROSEMARY AND MIX WELL
ADD MORE FLOUR OR WATER IF A LITTLE WET/DRY
FLOUR WORK SURFACE AND KNEAD DOUGH UNTIL SATIN SMOOTH
PLACE INTO A OILED BOWL AND LEAVE TO RISE FOR 1 HOUR OR UNTIL IT HAS
DOUBLED IN SIZE (YOU CAN ALSO LEAVE IT IN THE FRIDGE OVERNIGHT)
GENTLY MOULD IT INTO YOUR DESIRED LOAF SHAPE
LEAVE TO STAND WHILST YOUR OVEN HEATS UP
DUST THE TOP OF THE LOAF WITH FLOUR AND CUT SLITS IN THE TOP
STICK THE REST OF THE ROSEMARY INTO THE TOP OF THE BREAD
BAKE FOR 20-30 MINUTES OR UNTIL THE BREAD SOUNDS HOLLOW WHEN
YOU TAP THE UNDERNEATH
