PECHA KUCHA GUIDELINE



The official language of the conference is English.



A Pecha Kucha presentation consists of a flow of 20 representative images (1
image/slide) for each part of your speech, and you have 20 seconds for each slide.



20 x 20 = a 6 minutes and 40 seconds long presentation



Each Pecha Kucha should be on one of the following themes :
1.

No WE in Medicine – or is there? Pablo Picasso said: “Every act of creation is first an
act of destruction.” We would like you to destroy the initial idea and show the
importance of collaboration, in a unique way.

2. MY working space – a love/hate relationship – is there anything you noticed that
enhances the way you study? Or you can show us how our working space defines us
and makes us different.
3. The empathy in ME – should we be highly objective or slightly subjective in our
patients’ care? Or is an equilibrium attainable?



You may send as many presentations as you wish.



Make your talk slightly personal and share your own experience, with ups and
downs.



Before March 5th: Send us a video of yourself alone – prefferably of good quality,
presenting your Pecha Kucha, with your computer by your side to make the
presentation slides visible. Our email is heart.inscrieri@gmail.com



After March 5th: The most innovative/meaningful/impressive performances will
be selected for an interview which will consist of presenting in front of the
selecting team (HEART organisers). The best 6 performances (2 for each topic) will
be selected for a coaching session before being presented at the conference.



Accepted presenters will be granted an active participant diploma, as well as free
attendance of the conference!
