During my time working as an intern for Jerrard Wayne Creatives, they expanded the services they offer to
include Photography. This new venture gave me the opportunity to further my photo editing and retouching skills.
The first project that I was given to work on was the editing of the studio space to make it look a lot more
presentable as it would feature in the brochures used to promote the studio and also online.
This required colour correction, contrast control and removal of stains and patches as well as the removal of objects
like the ladder and window behind the main shooting area.

Aya Photobook Edits

One of the first photo albums that I worked on for the Jerrard Wayne Studio2 was for a lady named Aya.
The dress that she wore for the photoshoot was a blessing and a curse for me to edit!
She requested the usual photo contrast and brightening adjustments, along with the smoothing of her skin
and blemish removals but the most time consuming part of the edits were the removal of
the straps on her shoulders to make it look like the wings were just attached to her back. Angelic.

Aya Photobook Edits

The final product of the photoshoot for Aya was a photobook containing the best photos from the shoot.
All the edits were completed by myself. Before I could send the images to the printer, the final layout and
design had to be approved by Aya. Above are a few pages from the PDF which I sent to her.

Part of the promotional material that I was required to produce for the Jerrard Wayne Studio included a range
of brochures which would be sent out to potential clients. I identified the 4 seperate areas which the studio
could cater for and decided to produce a seperate brochure targetted to each instead
of trying to cover all areas in one brochure. Some of the print ready results are show above.

Another part of the promotional material which I created for the studio was the pricelist which would be sent out
to clients along with the brochures. This detailed the individual prices that Jerrard Wayne would charge for
the printing of photos. I stayed true to the brand colour schemes and kept the designs minimal.
I chose to use a photo of a contemporary living space on the cover, but had to edit in a photo to make it look
like a framed photography hanging above the sofa as before that the wall was blank.

We identified that one of the studios main targeted customer groups would be the model/performer category
and it would require the production of a pricelist which was tailored to them.
This design which I created for the Portfolio Pricelist keeps to the brand colour scheme and displays the
seperate options in a way in keeping with the Studio2 brand aesthetics
which can be seen throughout all of the printed materials.

Application Icon Design

The project which has been occupied most of the time that I spent at Jerrard Wayne Creatives was been the
development of a new app for a client. We had to design every page from scratch and one of the earliest tasks
which I had to complete was the creation of an full icon set for use in the app. The aim was to make the icons
all look like they were from the same set of icons and keep a sense of continuity throughout the app.
