hello!
i’m nathan pak.
i’m a designer
and i’m here to make cool things.
It’s all I’ve wanted to do since I was a kid, really.
In pursuit of this, I obtained my BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Georgia, and moved to Atlanta to lay down my
creative roots. For a better part of a decade since then I’ve done everything from illustration to design for print and web to
user experience design, and I’m ready to continue to discover what more I’m capable of making.
With both freelance and agency experience under my belt, I’ve experienced a variety of work environments: from
working at my home computer and meeting with clients via Skype, to working in a more collaborative capacity with other
designers, developers, and project managers. I’ve learned some well-earned lessons over these experiences about the
importance of communication and they’ve made me a better designer.
These past few years, I’ve also been applying what I’ve learned as a web designer toward a career transition into UX
Design. With a few comprehensive work projects and a course at General Assembly under my belt, I’ve come to value the
importance of research and testing, and wish to further my understanding of what makes a well-designed product a joy to
use while also using creative solutions to potentially solve well-worn problems in more efficient ways.
