Begin by removing the battery pack. Then remove
all screws on the back of the transmitter and
removing the front face. Gently disconnect the
small UFL antenna connector shown to the left.
With a small pair of pliers unscrew the plastic nut
below the antenna
The plastic antenna cover and antenna element can
now be easily pulled out the top
Prepare the new antenna connector by unscrewing
the nut and washer from it and placing it between
the included black plastic inserts
Hold the plastic nut in place with pliers while
gently pressing the new connector in place. Make
sure the small coax wire makes it all the way
through the hole in the other side of the nut with no

UFL connector. Close up the radio, screw the front
back on, and screw the included antenna washer
