aesthetic quality and differences between styles of all sorts of cartoons would
inspire me beyond anything. The beauty of cartoons is the childhish nature of
them. There is a sense of freedom in imagination when watching a cartoon.

interested in developing the animations itself. I was rather focused on the
look and feel to the programs. Animators would develop a sense of a new
atmosphere with every new cartoon. As a child, cartoons helped build my
foundation of imagination.
Music was another huge driving force in my life. I was introduced to The
Beatles at age 6. The song was “Rocky Raccoon” and it described the life of a
miserable cowboy. The storytelling told through lyrics and tonality instantly
fueled my imagination. The incredibly psychedelic movie,”Yellow Submarine”

its ability to deliver heavy messages about wars and the disillusioning aspects
of life. The gift of rock musicians being able to express things they believed
in through nonconventional ways became my aspiration. However, I picked

adore the idea of researching topics to help with the execution of a piece. The
idea of graphic design being presented as a solution to a problem gives the
designer an adaptable creative outlet. There are also so many ways to present
your solution. I enjoy the idea of having my imagination run wild with ideas.

“You’re too loud!” they used to say. “There’s no future in it.”
“Nowadays, you can’t play loud enough.”
