1. STILL LIFE
Attempt at recreating a still life painting in 3D
the most accurately and realistically possible.
Painting was used for composition and photographs
for lightings.
Light system using 4 standards lights : 3 rectangular
and one spherical for the fire light.
Fire was made using FumeFX.
Responsible for all aspects except pomegranate
model.
Software used: V-Ray for 3ds Max, Zbrush, Marvelous
Designer, Photoshop, After Effects, Fume FX.
2. HALLWAY
Lighting match with a warmer
tone than the original making
the focal point stand out more
with a little fantastic feel.
V-ray sun was used for the lighting.
Responsible for everything
Software used : V-Ray for 3ds Max,
After Effects.
3. INTERIOR ROOM
Interior Lighting matching real life reference for
realistic lighting result. IBL used for this scene
in combination with skylight portals and a
vray light to lighten the ceiling area.
Responsible for everything except some of the
models.
Software used : V-Ray for 3ds Max, Photoshop
4. MOTORCYCLE
Match to Photograph using an HDRI provided with
the backplate. I tone mapped the sky in photoshop
and increased the sun intensity by duplicating it
multiple times for sharper shadows. I then balanced
the sky brightness in relation to the sun’s increased
intensity.
Responsible for Lighting.
Software used : V-Ray for 3ds Max, Photoshop
5. DESERTED PADLOCK
Realistic lighting of a hard-surface model.
The scene was lit in a way that we could see all
of the shading aspects without pushing the
displacement, bump map,... too far. IBL for keylight
and Vray light used to provide highlights.
Responsible for all aspects.
Software used : V-Ray for 3ds Max, Zbrush,
Photoshop
