Design Implications of the North-South Rail Link
Since its inception, Boston’s rail network
has been bifurcated North and South,
hindering connectivity between commuter
rail and the subway lines and thwarting the
realization of a regional rail system.
The North-South Rail Link represents
the key to unlocking the full potential of
Boston’s railways, transforming a
segregated series of radial spurs into a
cohesive transportation network. Central
to this project is the reimagining of North
and South Stations, presenting a once-ina-generation opportunity to design new
civic gateways for the City of Boston.
Please join the BSA Infra\tecture
Committee on Thursday, May 25 @ 6PM
in the BSA SPACE for a thought-provoking
panel discussion exploring the engineering,
economic, and design opportunities and
challenges of the North-South Rail Link.
