INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FENCE MOUNT LETTERBOXES

The Fence Mount letterbox range can be mounted into a timber fence or built into a brick or block wall.
Depending on the model, they are available as a complete unit, or otherwise as a separate front panel
and back box.
The 236 Modena model is show below, but the general installation method applies to all the models listed.
TIMBER FENCE INSTALLATION
BRICK INSTALLATION
1. If the front panel is attached to the letterbox,
remove it by undoing its four mounting nuts from
inside the letterbox.

2. Measure the letterbox body
and cut a slightly larger hole
into the fence.
2. Build the brickwork up to
the desired level and set
the letterbox in place.
For plain brick walls, the
front anges should sit ush
with the wall.
For rendered walls, set the
letterbox slightly forward to
allow for the render
thickness.
The ideal height for the mail
slot is 90 to 110cm from the
ground, however it can be
as low as 60cm.
3. Slide the letterbox body in
through the front of the
fence. Screw it to the fence
with the screws provided (for
hardwood, its easier if you
pre-drill the screw holes).
4. Attach the front panel and
secure it from inside the
letterbox with the nuts
provided.
3. Complete the remaining
brickwork around the
letterbox.
4. Once the brickwork and
any rendering has been
completed, attach the
front panel and secure it
from inside of the
letterbox with the
nuts provided.
