Introduction
What is ESSCO?
The Engineering Student Societies’ Council of Ontario (ESSCO) facilitates
communications between 16 engineering student societies (“EngSocs” or
“ESS’s”) in Ontario. ESSCO represents approximately 24,000 engineering
students at 16 institutions to Professional Engineers of Ontario, the Ontario
Society of Professional Engineers, the Council of Ontario Deans of
Engineering, and others. ESSCO brings the EngSocs together by holding a
number of conferences throughout the year to share the student societies’
best practices – helping them learn from each other to improve their
services, operations, and events for engineering students across Ontario.

Annual General Meeting
ESSCO AGM 2017 will bring together a delegate base of multi-disciplinary
engineering students from across the province for a 4 day conference in
June 2017. The focus of this conference is leadership development and the
sharing of best practices. The sessions and speakers will expand on this
theme to develop a balanced and multi-faceted approach towards
developing the engineering leaders of tomorrow. The event will create a
network of driven individuals looking to make a difference in the industry,
and around the world.
