Enjoying Trip to Ranthambore
Travelling alone is biggest fear for me, as I have never been travel alone outside from my home
town. After completing my graduation, I started working as a freelance writer and wanted to
know about more this world. Being a writer I want to write more about this nature, things,
places, cities and many more in the list. I thought that I must take a leave from my routine work
and do something special like a day trip to a nearby town. For escaping from fear of travelling
alone I have chosen two day trip to Jaipur; the capital of Rajasthan and Ranthambore National
Park situated in the Sawai Madhopur; a city of Rajasthan.
I started my journey in the early morning rays of the sun for having one day sightseeing tour in
Jaipur. The city welcomed with great hospitality. I started exploring city from City palace which
is situated in the heart of Jaipur. The city palace is built in the blend of Rajput, Mughal and
European architectural styles. It has two main significant structures ‘Chandra Mahal’ and
‘Mubarak Mahal and vast courtyards and attractive gardens. It has large museums and art
galleries which contains the valuable items of the bygone era. After exploring City palace, I took
my steps toward to Jal Mahal, Amber Fort and Nahargarh Fort. Jal mahal was on the way to
Amber fort which is situated in the Man Sagar Lake. This is great picturesque monument with
panoramic view. After clicking some good photographs I took my way to Amber fort.
I was ready to take another adventuring experience because first time I was going to take
elephant ride. At the parking area of Amber fort elephant ride was available and I was too
excited to climb up on elephant. My colorful painted elephant dropped me at courtyard of the
Fort. I explored Amber fort’s splendor and majestic presence in the city. The fort is the witness
of Jaipur city’s Royality and opulence. After exploring its greatness I was free to enjoy in the
dusk so I headed to the local markets of Jaipur. Being a shopaholic person I purchased so many
things like Mojari, tie and die clothes and Jaipur ornaments from Johari bajar, Bapu Bajar and
Chaura Rasta. Now this was time to take a good sleep after a long day of exploration.
It was winter morning in the Jaipur with full of its charm but I had left forRanthambore National
park. The park is situated in the city Sawai Madhopur which is 130 kilometers from Jaipur. After
covering two and half hour distance I reached to outer skirt of National Park. Fortunately there I
found a group of females who have also came from Delhi. After getting some introduction with
them I was more comfortable because exploring the national park with group was more
adventurous instead exploring alone. The park is covering 392 sq km area. I found there was
something very exciting factor about exploring wildlife and watching wild animals nearby you.
As we crossed the security check of the park, we started screaming happily. There are many
zones which specified with their uniqueness. Our guide told us that legendary queen of this park
was tigress Machli and some others were Krishna and arrowhead. Zone 3 is a Tiger’s home and
with full of water and flora. Unfortunately we were unable to have a look of any tiger. But
fortunately we experienced a great wildlife. The silence scattered all over the environment only
interrupted only by the chirping of birds.
This was time to pack my bag and make my way to Delhi. It was a great experience and I can
understand that travel has the power to change lives for the better. To explore more about such
amazing destinations you can book Golden triangle tour with Ranthambore from a reputed tour
operator. Travel teaches you the best about the world and yourself.
