Creating a Private Category
When you create menu entries for private categories, these categories will only be
displayed to customers who have been granted access. Customers without access
won’t be able to see these categories or the pages they contain.
In your Admin Area, go to Inventory > Categories.
Define a Category Name and assign it to a menu from the Show in Menu drop-down menu.*
Under Misc, enable the Private Section Customers Only option.
When finished, click Save.
Once this category is created, it can only be accessed from the storefront by either store
administrators or customer accounts that have been granted access to the store’s
