Image Recolouring

I have provided a “before and after” comparison of a photo that I have edited in order to display the changes
made. The original image has been altered to become a psycedelic version with alterations done to the hue and
saturation. Edits such as these can add an alternative twist to a photo that draws the attention of the eye.

Basic Photo Editing

I am also able to edit photos minimally to make them more aesthetically pleasing. The originals on the

right has been altered to give a warm hue to the overall images. The
contrast between the light and shadows has also been edited to give the photos some
extra depth; depth that I believed the originals to be missing. These edits, while minor in amount, can give
your photos that extra edge to stand out.

Identity Masking
Using a mosaic tool I am able to vaguely obscure the identity of a person. This
technique can be very important for photo edits that are to be used in journal
articles and offical news articles that require the identity of a person to be hidden.
This simple mosaic effect can be altered to mask the identity of a person as strongly
as required.

Photo Mash Ups
*Disclaimer: None of the images within this image are mine. All have been
pulled off google as required of an in class assignment.
After fitting all the pieces onto the canvas, using the flaming knuckles as the
background, I resized knuckles and sonic to appropriate proportions. I then
flipped Sonic horizontally so he was instead pointing at knuckles and vice versa.
After this I positioned the versus text design in the middle of the two to imitate a
fighting screen at the beginning of a game. I felt as if knuckles and Sonic didn’t
fit appropriately into the scene as it kind of looked like they were floating so I
drew a shadow underneath their feet in pale grey. I then blurred the edges of this
shadow and lessened the opacity to achieve the illusion that they were standing
on something within the scene
This image heavily relies on composition and balance to make it appear approiate. This type of editing is only available as commission work if all images provided are completely owned by you. I do not agree with using images of another
person(s).
