THERE IS OFTEN A THEME
As you experience heaven, note the theme. There seems to always be a theme. What reoccurred? What
things did you keep seeing or experience? For instance, you might keep seeing the same colors or
hearing the same message, like being told over and over again that you are His child or are royalty. For
one first time visitor, they heard, "He just said don't feel unworthy to enter. My son paid the price to
allow you to come. He's saying, yes enter in. You have a home there." The theme for this first visit was,
yes, this is real, yes, I want you to enter in, yes come and see Me.
ENTER IT IN YOUR JOURNAL
As your goal is not to simply have experiences, but to get to know God, to learn how to be a royal child
of God and to bring heaven to earth, be sure to journal every experience in detail and pray over each
part of it letting the Lord reveal its purpose to you.
This is Biblical. Note that both the Old and New Testament, the Bible itself, are written testimonies of
others' experiences with God. "For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us"
(Romans 15:4).
Habakkuk 2:2 says, "Then the LORD replied: 'Write down the revelation and make it plain...'"
In Revelation 1:19 says, Jesus said, "Write what you have seen..."
In Jeremiah 30:2 says, "This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: 'Write in a book all the words I
have spoken to you."
Journaling will help you process your experiences and help you keep track of your progress. You will be
able to go back and look at your experiences and see what God has done with you and how you are
growing. Additionally, as you remember the details, you will be able to revisit them to expand on the
experiences. Still more, you will have something to share with others as was done with the Bible and
their experiences with God.
ENTER IN THROUGH THE NIGHT WATCH
You may want to try the "Night Watch," where you enter into heaven while you sleep. Your soul and
spirit will be in heaven while your body sleeps. Before going to sleep, get as still as possible and relax. Let
yourself get almost sleep and then step in by faith and let your body fall asleep. In some case, you may
feel your soul leave your body. If you are unable to do this right away, do not sweat it. Just keep seeking
God for it until He makes it happen.
I do not have any Biblical examples of this, but some are experiencing heaven this way. We do know that
God said that people would dream dreams and have visions and these may very well be experiences in
the spirit realms.
