ACCESSING THE COURTS & CLUB HOUSE
We’ll send you details of how to access the courts, when you join.
WHEN YOU CAN PLAY
We operate an online booking system: https://clubspark.lta.org.uk/StarbeckTennisClub You are free to book and play your own games at any time except when
prearranged matches / events etc. are taking place. The below gives a rough overview of when the courts are occupied during the spring and summer and is
generally applicable to end August (excluding Sundays) and end September (on Sundays). A similar mid-week timetable applies from October through Winter.

Generally, the courts are free to use on alternate Sunday afternoons. Ladies matches in summer are every other week from 12.30pm (2 courts in use, 1 free to
use). Again, please use the links to check exact fixture dates.
VISITORS
Visitors are welcome at the club, but a visitor’s fee must be paid prior to play and each visitor must also submit their details, for insurance purposes, to the club.
Each visitor must also be signed in. Visits are limited to 3 per year after which a visitor must join the club in order to continue using the facilities (also for

COACHING
Our Club Coach is Matt McTurk and group coaching sessions are run by Tennis Harrogate for both juniors and adults of all stan dards, for a small fee. Please

KEEPING YOU UP TO DATE WITH EVENTS
We hold regular social events – such as quizzes, dances, pub meets, curry nights and special events where members and friends are always welcome. We email
all members a newsletter with the latest news and events around once a month. If you haven’t submitted your email address, please send it to
committee@starbeck-tennis-club.org and we’ll make sure you get a copy too!
MATCHES
We run 9 very successful competitive teams in local leagues. 4 mixed doubles teams that play in the Harrogate league, 3 men’s doubles teams and 2 ladies
doubles teams. Team play is open to all members but selection is based on ability and at the Captains’ or Selection Committee discretion. If you would like to
play for a team please contact one of the team captains below:
