Jan Smirnow received the honor of winning
the Eighth Annual Broken Scoop Award.
Jan was the only nomination for a dubious award and
therefore the automatic winner.
She received this
nomination for planting items for a club hunt on a local
beach in sea grass. Jan will have to display this award in
a prominent place at her home until the next Holiday Party
in 2017. Jan has become a club favorite for this award.
Hopefully she will be able to pass along the award at that
time to another member.
The scoop was donated by Kevin Reilly of Reilly's Treasured
Gold, Inc in 2008.

UPCOMING PROGRAM
Gerard Beaulieu, a former member of the Gold Coast
Treasure Club, will visit us at the February 9, 2017

Canada, a treasure hunter, an engineer, explorer,
Newfoundland historian, hunting guide and the first to grow
and distribute strawberries and plums throughout
Newfoundland. He winters in Ft Pierce, Fl and anticipates
sharing some of his discoveries and visiting with club
members.

CLUB NEEDS PHOTOGRAPHER! Steve Hoskins is stepping down.
