Juno Beach Night Hunt
Laurie and I hosted a night hunt on Saturday Feb 11, 2017 at
Juno Beach fishing pier at 5:30 pm.
The weather was perfect, cool but not cold, a full moon
rose shortly after sunset with clear skies.
We arrived early that afternoon and the beach was very
crowded with beach goers, we could not plant any coins till
they left. Therefore we started an open wild daylight hunt
for the members.
As it got dark they returned to the meeting spot and table
for snacks and beverages. While they were enjoying the
goodies, Laurie and new member Tripp Cioci's mother left
to plant hundreds of coins on the south side of the pier.
The hour long hunt began just as the full moon was rising
into a clear sky. The cool breeze was most refreshing and
the members were off and digging it.
The list is as follows.....

Scavenger Hunt
We’re having a scavenger hunt that
will end on the April 13th meeting.
Check out the list of required items on
page 7.
All items found will count toward the
most found, and the variety to win.
Yes, this is a “help clean up the trash
on the beach” hunt!

It was a most enjoyable evening. Most of the coins
were found. Tripp found a nice necklace with a cross
and a diamond stud ear ring.
Dave and Vice President Sue Chonoles invited Bill and
his wife along with their friend Bob. They met us at
Red Lobster and went to the club meeting. Hopefully
they will be new members.
Jacob who had joined us at the Red Lobster dinner
and was a guest, showed interest in joining.

From the Editor
Beginning with this issue of The Tinfoil Times, I will be serving as the Newsletter Editor.
I am a fairly new member to the club, and I am looking forward to meeting
all of our members. I am also pretty new at metal detecting, so I hope you
don’t mind me picking your brains from time to time.
