THE MONTHLY NEWSLETTER OF THE GOLD COAST TREASURE CLUB, INC.

VOLUME 35 NUMBER 11

NOVEMBER 2010

THE NEXT MEETING WILL BE 7:30 P.M. NOVEMBER 11
AT THE WEST PALM BEACH GARDEN CLUB IN DREHER PARK
4800 Dreher Trail North, West Palm Beach, Florida
OUR CODE OF ETHICS: HAVE PERMISSION AND DO NO HARM

NOVEMBER MEETING
With the price of gold and silver soaring lately, a lot of
folks are eager to get in on the action. Unfortunately,
many unscrupulous scammers want to separate
unsuspecting consumers from their money. Our November
11th meeting will feature a timely presentation by Rechant
Precious Metals: “Buyer (and Seller) Beware! How NOT
to Get Ripped Off When Buying or Selling Precious
Metals.” If you’re even thinking about investing in - or
liquidating - your gold or silver, come and learn how to
avoid being turned into a
turkey this Thanksgiving!
It’s time to start thinking about what dish you’ll bring
to share at the Annual Holiday Party on December 9th.
We’ll have a sign-up sheet at the November meeting.
We thank Mindy and Gary Spiroch who’ll bring
refreshments and Jim Sharp for the mystery item.
JOIN US EARLY AT P.A. BBQ–OUR FAVORITE BBQ JOINT!

Where: Back Room ~ When: 5:15 p.m. ~ Why: Why Not?
Park Avenue BBQ & Grille, 2401 N. Dixie Hwy (US 1)
Lake Worth, Florida

NOVEMBER ELECTION OF OFFICERS
Members should have received a reminder email from
Linda Bennett that the Election of Officers will be held
during our November meeting. Volunteers with fresh
ideas are encouraged to run for one of these positions:
president, vice-president, or secretary. The treasurer’s
position is the only elected position that doesn’t need to be
filled. Contact Linda if you’re interested in running for the
board, or want to discuss other volunteer opportunities.

BATTERY CHARGER RAFFLE

There are still chances available to win the “universal
battery charger.” Why throw your money away by buying
new batteries when you can simply recharge them?
Works great on alkaline AND rechargeable NiCad
batteries. Tickets are only $2 each.

BONUS RAFFLE–SOMETHING WE ALL “KNEAD”
We all LOVE to metal detect, but after a full day - or
even just a few hours - out there swinging, bending, and
digging, many of us end up hunched over in pain.
Wouldn’t it be nice to have a Licensed Massage Therapist
on call to come to your home to provide a relaxing and
therapeutic hour-long massage? Sharon Cedrone, LMT,
owner of Art of Massage, LLC is donating just such a
service, valued at $100, to the GCTC to help us raise
funds. (Thanks so much, Sharon!) And, yes, she does
make house calls! (Or spa appointments, if preferred.)
Raffle tickets will be available for only $1 each during
the November and December meetings, and the drawing
will take place during our December 9th Holiday Party.
What a great gift this would be for yourself or loved one!
